Excellent location! Within walking distance to many of the tourist areas in Fremantle (10-15min)
There’s no food or room service but there are many cafes within a 5 min walking radius. It’s just right across the road from a distillery (Republic of Fremantle)!
Had separate living and sleeping rooms, kitchenette was well stocked and clean too. Even had washing machine and dryer in the toilet!! Couldn’t ask for more.
The hotel is in a good location. It's more than ten minutes' walk to Terminal B and the supermarket, but the rooms are very small, like a capsule hotel, the Internet is very slow, and the parking lot costs 25 days a day, which is really expensive!
Stayed for three nights pre cruise. Very comfortable, smallish room, lighting was not so good, but the location and staff were excellemnt. Just around the corner from many restaurants and a short walk to the Fremantle Markets. Close to Fremantle station. Breakfast was really good, fresh orange juice, meusli, youghurt and berries, plus bread and the very best ever fruit loaf to be toasted. A selection of teas and two coffee machines - free local newspapers as well. At night from 5 -6 free glass of wine or beer, plus cheese next door - a very nice way to start the evening. Staff were very friendly, and informative, and we were able to wait in the breakfast/reception area after check-out, until it was time for our taxi. Hightly recommended

This is a bouquet hotel, not very fancy but with all the essentials you need. Room is cozy and clean.
Just to remind everyone that the address of the hotel is #30, not #32. I was struggling to check in #32 on the night until I found it was actually #30 on that street.
Front desk staff was friendly and accommodated me a late check out.
Worth the money paid.
Such an absolutely beautiful rustic mixed with modern place. Very clean We have no problem recommending this gorgeous family run rustic style guest house. Each bedroom has its own modern very very clean ensuite. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is an array of so many options, fresh fruit salad, toast, croissants, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, different cereals, fresh cookies, cake, banana bread, the list goes on. Fresh coffee, filtered water, tea, cold pressed juices. All available in a cosy little dinning room. Rooms have old fashion fire place with a little decanter of port atop it. So cute. This place is sooooo much nicer than any run of the mill hotel. If you’re looking for a cosy home away from home, then I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
This is a nice old style hotel, well renovated and retrofitted with an elevator. It has a great bar on the roof with views all around the area, which is near the mouth of the river. It has a bar downstairs that has a good range of beers, including Kilkenny Ale, one of my favourites. Unfortunately, it also has (really lour) live music on weekends. I was on the second floor and there was no way I could sleep until it stopped at midnight. The floor was vibrating and the bass came through the bed. On the plus side, it's in a great area, with lots of excellent cafes, restaurants, and shopping.
This quaint B & B has a charming communal court yard with a cooling water feature tinkling away amongst the pots plants. The host is supportive and helpful-very much behind the scenes and not intrusive. The climb up 3 flights of narrow stairs with luggage was expected, as we had read the reviews, and whilst the room was spotlessly clean and provided a pretty balcony overlooking the courtyard, both the room and bathroom are a bit tired and in need of a makeover. It’s right next door to a great restaurant: The Cray, and within easy walking distance to Fremantle with its cosy cafes. Nice to be able to open the balcony doors for fresh air, unlike a hotel room. We felt safe to be in a gated complex. The breakfast is fresh and simple.
Staying at the wray hotel was very comfy. Room was very clean; the hotel gives a vintage pub vibe as the staff explained it is a heritage listed place. Staff was very helpful with the check-in as we reached there quite late. Will return definately
The hotel is unique
And it’s right next to Fremantle Market, suitable for weekend stays
There are also supermarkets nearby
There is a water dispenser in the room with still water and sparkling water provided.
This is so important in Australia
But the breakfast is very simple. It is recommended to eat out.
Had a great stay at Be.Fremantle. The ocean view room is nice spacious and clean. Will come back again.

GGuest UserGREAT FRIENDLY CHECK IN THE HOTEL ITSELF IS REALLY GORGEOUS. COMFY BED VERY CLEAN. GREAT TO SEE A HOTEL BAR THAT WAS VIBRANT AND NOT OVERPRICED. FANTASTIC LOCATION CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. WE HAD A GREAT STAY HERE
GGuest UserThe Norfolk suited us perfectly for our overnight stay in Fremantle. Centrally located; friendly staff; good WiFi. The welcome drink (ie a pint each) was greatly appreciated on a hot Sunday afternoon! Our room was clean and organised. Great to have a Nespresso machine in there for a decent coffee. The tea selection was excellent too. The shower was awesome.
The location was great. We were there for 1 night as we had an appointment at the Fremantle hospital and we live in the country. Upon arriving the Down under room seemed spacious and tidy. We soon found the room was very smelly of sewerage, the air conditioner was dripping water all over the floor, so we turned it off. No opening windows to let fresh air in, the microwave had huge rust spots and food splattered on the inside of it, the shower was inside a very high bath and I have had a knee replacement so it was difficult to get in and out, we could hear people having full conversations on the floor above and walking up and down stairs and creaking floorboards. We had no power to make coffee or dry my hair in the morning as the PowerPoints didn’t work. People were building right next the bedroom so had a nail gun going off from 7:30am. Overall it wasn’t somewhere I would stay again or recommend. When we let the girl at the office know she just said “it’s on the list”. Sorry not the right attitude for this business. Definitely not worth the money.
GGuest UserThe thought of staying in prison is usually nothing you would enjoy. Well, we did enjoy our stay at the YHA a lot. We slept in a cell and due to the fact it's a heritage building, they can't install ACs in there, so it was warm at night, with day temperatures of 45 degrees. The fan did not really cool the room down, yet it was fine. We knew what we booked and that it can be hot in February. There are plenty of bathrooms all over the hostel, so you always find a shower or a toilette. The kitchen is spacious and clean. Of course, there are dirty dishes, but let's be honest: most of the guests are adults and should be capable of cleaning their dishes and clean up their mess. It's not the job of the staff to do this. The YHA has a nice, big garden, a big community area (inside) and a community area outside. It was very quiet at night, perfect for anybody, who needs some sleep. The staff was always very friendly and helpful and made our stay even better. It's located right next to Fremantle Prison and less than a five minutes walk from Fremantle market.
GGuest UserWe had an evening meal with friends midweek. This old pub has recently been refurbished and is a pleasant change from the loud yubby and trendy bars popping up all over the area. Good choice of beers on tap and a decent wine list. The meal was your usual ”pub grub” but done very well. The staff were very cheerful and pleasant. Well worth a visit if you are looking for someplace a bit traditional.
CCooLaLaTravelThe staff is very good, will introduce the entire dormitory facilities, and the kitchen is clean, the shower is good, and there will be discounts on the boat, please ask the staff to get the ticket discount.
