This has to be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in, the window was wedged open with a 2ft piece of wood, which I removed and the window slammed shut and I was unable to open it again which was probably just as well as we retired to bed around 10pm when the music started and what sounded like a party going on below our bedroom window, the noise was horrendous and sleep was impossible, it was 12.50 when I finally managed to drop off although the noise and music continued. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable and the bathroom was tiny with a wet room shower that was like something out of the ark. In the morning the condensation on the old dilapidated windows were soaking, not sure what they did at the refit in 2017 but certainly did not replace the windows

I would strongly suggest avoiding this hotel at all costs unless you are desperate. On arrival, we were only warned of the late night disco by a staff member on signing in. The disco was on Saturday and started at 9pm and finished at 1am. The lights in the courtyard are very bright and bedroom 4's window was lit up like it was daylight. The noise was unbearable. We asked for a cup of tea in the bar as there was only 1 mug in the room when we arrived. The bar man did not have any teabags it would appear, until a man said he had a catering pack of Tetleys in the back of his van. We also had to ask for another toilet roll for the room as the only one provided was around 3/4 empty. The sash window in bedroom 4 was broken, held up by a block of wood, if you wanted to open it for ventilation. I think that this is a health and safety hazard personally. The room for breakfast could only be found after the cleaning lady downstairs had to ring someone on her mobile for advice as she did not know where it was. There is no food available on site apart from a miserable 'continental breakfast' which is basically mothers pride white bread in a packet, a toaster, and mini cereals. A fridge holds only cows milk, some butter in a tub and individual marmalades/jams. To make a drink for breakfast head back to your room with the kettle and fill it up from your own basin tap, before returning again to the breakfast room. Also remember to bring your mugs from your room with you. The crockery was dirty as was some of the cutlery. Beds in room 4 had clean sheets but the sheets were straight onto the mattress with no mattress protectors. The beds were uncomfortable to say the least. The bathroom is a wet room with a glass shower door giving straight onto the bedroom- allowing the other occupant of the room to see someone sitting on the toilet. The shower floor area was stained and there was dirt in the corners by the toilet. The toilet area gets soaked as soon as you use the shower.

What a horrible stay we experienced unfortunately at this establishment.Arriving in the afternoon only stairs to the room and we had to have help with our luggage. After dining out and arriving back around ten pm managed to gain entry through locked doors and the interior in total darkness. In the morning turned the shower on and met with cold water and horrible smells, also when checked in told there was a buffet breakfast but in the morning informed no breakfast. Disastrous start to our holiday and pray no one else experiences this hotel.

In addition to the other (true) reviews, I have to say this 'hotel' is quite simply, terrible ! In fact, it make Fawlty Towers look like a Hilton ! If they had to design a hotel for 'I'm a Celebrity', this would be it. You can feel the springs in the cheap mattress, so had to lay on top of the duvet with my coat over me in my attempt to get any form of sleep ! They shouldn't be charging Premier Inn prices for such squalour

Worst hotel I have been at in a long time. The room had garbage from the last occupant, the beds were foam on a wooden frame, the smell in the bathroom was horrid. After spending about an hour in the room we decided we couldn’t stand to stay the night. Management refused to refund our money or assist in any useful way…they offered to give us a few drinks on the house. Do not stay here!

I certainly wasn’t expecting luxury for the price, but I do expect cleanliness. It can be clean without being luxurious. The room was filthy, thick mould on the window frames, the bathroom was disgusting with grime all around the edges. The bedding was clean for which I was thankful. I certainly wouldn’t have had a coffee. I couldn’t wait to leave. It is very noisy at night which I could have overlooked had the room been clean. The place needs a thorough deep clean. Wouldn’t stay again.

This is a great place to stay if you don't want to sleep before 1am and don't expect clean accommodation. Not worth £70/night and definitely not the £140/night they tried to swindle from us when checking in, claiming that was what the till said. The window in the bedroom was black with mould, the shower head looked like it has never been cleaned and there was suspect foam in one corner. We won't be going back in a hurry

The room and bedding was clean, however, the ensuite wet room had a terrible smell of drains which got worse as time went on. There was no squeegee blade to wipe the wet room floor after a shower, which meant wet feet if you then needed to use the loo or brush teeth. I wouldn't have eaten there or even used the coffee making facilities because the drains smell was so off-putting. The noise from the bar didn't bother us because we only stayed one night and we were back late ourselves. At 1am, everyone was turfed out promptly so it wasn't an issue. The whole place felt in dire need of a facelift, from the piles of dust /dirt on the stairs, to the sticky floor in the bar. Definitely won't return.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Loud music outside window on both nights stayed making sleep impossible continued until early hours of morning.. Management couldn't care less. On a really hot night had to have windows closed. No shampoo or toiletries in room. Shower would not stay on wall.
