Trents by Greene King Inns

Warm comfortable beds, friendly staff and a nice pub to enjoy a cold beer in. Hot shower and fluffy pillows in the rooms. A central location, close to the train station too.if I ever visit Chichester again I’ll make sure to stay at Trent’s again

My partner and I went to a wedding near to Trents pub and we had a great stay. The staff were very helpful, particularly Angela and the bar manager, they allowed us to check in early and sorted our bags for us, which received some stress! We then returned very late to the pub to go to bed, and the staff were still great! The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, it’s just what we needed. Thanks very much!

Nice room and great shower but noisey at night with a bus stop outside the room. Best get a room away from the front. The breakfast was really good and the staff were really helpful. We would return (if we can get a room away from the front).

Stayed 2 nights for my wife's birthday and could not have chosen better. Our room (3) was attractive, comfortable and cosy. More than ample for our stay. the ensuite was spacious and had a large walk in shower. Saw no evidence of the criticisms in previous reviews so an excellent refurb has been completed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and everything functioned as it should. Though at the front, our room was quiet at all times. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order, huge and delicious. We were stuffed after. All the staff could not be more helpful and cheerful, especially Sarah, who never stops working and arranged a surprise birthday treat for my wife. Thank you.

Hotel rooms really comfy, stayed in a room at the back of the hotel which was really quiet. Room included tea, coffee, fridge and ironing facilities. All staff really friendly and welcoming. Would defiantly stay again and would advise people to stay. The breakfast that was provided was lovely!

It was very hard to choose a rating for the Trent’s and here’s why: The staff are absolutely fantastic. Really friendly and willing to help in any way they can. The room was nice and the bed comfortable with a super shower for the morning. The breakfast was very nice indeed and again cant fault the staff. We were down in Chichester on short notice as my Aunt was in a hospice near by so the family was exhausted and emotional. The reason ai couldn’t give it full marks was the lack of sleep. We stayed on a Sunday night which was quiz night and the music / compare was extremely loud to the point that the bed was constantly vibrating. The music finished at 11pm but then all the noise outside could be heard, lorries, bins banging, people shouting etc etc and this went on all night. I know the outside is out of their control but I didn’t sleep all night and neither did my family in the other 3 rooms. Perhaps just avoid Sunday nights unless you like quiz nights.

Lovely visit to Trent’s the other week! Menu is amazing, drinks nice and cold during the heatwave and Jay was an amazing host. Definitely be back, hopefully I can book a room above the pub and stay for a few days!!

We stayed one night midweek and it was very good value for money. The staff were really efficient and really friendly. They made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean, and supplied with tea & coffee, fridge,hairdryer and ironing board. Breakfast was great too.

Needed a hotel close to the Theatre, just for the one night. This was perfect. The female in charge of hotel issues was superb. The room was extremely clean and surprising quiet considering it overlooked the high street. The en suite was also fantastic. Breakfast was included and the food excellent. A good ‘small hotel’ in a very good location. Don’t let the idea that’s it’s above the pub put you off at all.
