The elevator halls on each floor are very spacious, with 14 elevators. Although you need to change elevators on the 20th floor, it is still very convenient. It has a good view of Lake Michigan and the park. The service in the restaurant is friendly and the breakfast price is reasonable at US$25.

Female quad: I booked a bed in a FEMALE quad. I checked in and went to the room to find men’s clothes hanging and men’s shoes. I went back to the front desk telling them I paid extra money to be in a female quad and there is a man in the room. She said the person is a woman but she wears men’s clothes. I went back to the room, the second I open the door, a black man jumps into his bed and closes the curtains. I came closer to him and said hi, he ignored me and used a towel to cover his face. I went back to the front desk, they sent a security to check. The security man didn’t let me be in the room with him, and asked me to leave the room so he can have a word with him. 5mins later, the security man comes out and says its a girl, but I defiantly saw a man. I went back to the room and the man still tries to hide his face by a towel. Went back to the front desk and asked to put me in a bother room as I don’t feel safe sleeping in this room, they refused to transfer me. Then I asked to cancel my reservation and refund me and they refused to do so. I ended up leaving and going to another hotel. Hotel: The hotel and room doesn’t look like what they advertise on their website. The room is very very small to the point that there is no room to open your suitcase on the floor. The bathroom is very disgusting with no room service to clean. There is even no enough lighting in the room or the bathroom. The elevators looked like a coffin, very dark with no light and slow. There is no lobby to sit and socialise with other. They will charge you if you use the lobby. Front desk: The people at the from desk are very rude, especially the short black woman. She has no customer service skills, rude and yells at people. She could be a janitor, plumber, car mechanic but not receptionist. Clearly the hotel doesn’t care about providing good customer service. Deposit: they will charge you $50 despot at check-in and claim that it will be refunded after checking out. Be aware, it won’t be refunded. I didn’t stay at the hotel, despite that they refunded only $44. I called asking why did you charge me $6 if I didn’t stay at the hotel, the black woman yelled at me and ended the call after telling her I don’t understand what she is saying. I emailed them asking for a refund, no answer.

This place was perfect for us!! The place was welcoming (after a 3 hour delay including 2 sitting on the plane waiting for a gate). The room was great and the beds comfortable and everything was CLEAN! Breakfast was good with eggs and other items. Better than expected!

First time in Chicago so didn't know where to stay, luckily I found this hotel and it was very nice, hotel rooms are nicely decorated and clean, took a while to figure out where coffee machine was but found it in the end, only blemish was one set of elevator was not functional but there was no notice posted. It's not that difficult to post notice on the tenth floor was it? But all in all, a pleasant stay and a great location with nice restaurants around hotel, definitely will come again.

Great location as it is the only hotel inside the airport. The decor inside the rooms are dated with the beige painted walls and an old musky smell in the room. We only spent the night so not a big deal. The service on the lobby at reception is first class though and walking to the terminal is pretty quick (about 3 minutes).
The Hyatt Lodge is a great alternative in Oak Brook, Illinois. All guest rooms have been update with flat screen LCD television, cordless phones and wireless high-speed Internet. The hotel is a fully non-smoking property.

This is a lovely building with much attention to detail in it's design. Our room was very nice with quality furnishings with one exception. We both felt that the mattress was extremely uncomfortable considering the higher price we paid for the room. Self parking is about 1/4 mile from the hotel entrance which seemed odd to me. There was no provision for a shuttle service. We ate one meal at the hotel - a banquet for the event we attended. The food was good but not outstanding. Overpriced for what we got. No free continental breakfast.

Except that it is a little off the beaten track, there are also restaurants nearby, but it takes a few minutes to walk, everything else is OK. The hotel has its own restaurant, so you have no choice but to eat at the hotel late at night. The taste is not bad. It is more than 40 dollars from the airport. I remember that there is a taxi called city cab from the airport, which is too expensive. Because he can't go anywhere else after accepting the order, he can only go back, so there is a fare that needs to be paid and shared with the driver. As a result, I paid more than 60 dollars, and more than 70 dollars including consumption, which is super expensive. The hotel breakfast is self-service. When you check in, you will be given a colored coupon, and then you come to order. It seems that each different color coupon has different types of options. Mine is purple, I suggest you look at my choice. At the same time, because I booked with Ctrip, the itinerary changed, and I couldn't cancel one night. I wasted 1,000 yuan, which is very unsatisfactory.

The location is very good. Although it is not in the city, the surrounding shopping malls, restaurants, and supermarkets are very full. If you want to go to the city, it will only take 40 minutes and 20 minutes from the airport. The environment is very good. You can add a baby cot and have free parking.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe hotel has a good location, just beside Michigan Avenue, and convenient to all major attractions in Chicago. The hotel environment is also very good. It is quiet and clean. The space is large enough. There is sufficient hot water supply, but there is no hot water to drink. We brought our own heat The most distinctive feature of the kettle for boiling water is the hotel’s robots, which can deliver water and daily necessities, which are available on demand, great! We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are many restaurants around, which are very convenient. The waiters in the hotel are very good and the service is very warm and thoughtful. Our trip felt very good, the price was affordable and the process was comfortable!
GGuest UserI visited the Warwick Allerton with a group of friends over a three night stay. The hotel is older, in the midst of a remodel. Our room was fine, appeared to be remodeled. It was clean, comfortable bed and furniture. Housekeeping had to be scheduled and we ran out of toilet paper before the scheduled service. Additionally our wifi was continually disconnecting. Alicia from the front desk offered to come up to our room, reset our wifi and delivered 2 rolls of toilet paper. She arrived within minutes of me talking to her. She was friendly and very helpful. The hotel charges a $15.00 daily service fee. The restaurant was closed for remodeling and there was no food on the premises. There may have been a gym, which we did not use. I fail to see the benefits of the facility fee and would rather just have the room charge be higher if the hotel needs to make a higher profit on the rooms. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. The valet service was also efficient.
GGuest UserWe almost always stay at Marriotts or HIltons — when we've stayed at boutique hotels, we've found that the rooms are a little too quirky or way too overpriced (or both!). But this was the recommended hotel for a nearby wedding, so we booked it. And it exceeded our expectations, and then some. The room was massive, with a gorgeous bathroom, high ceilings, and excellent bedding. The food at the restaurant downstairs was great. And the staff was remarkably friendly (our stay was from a Saturday night through Monday morning, and with street parking being free on Sundays, the staff gave us a heads up so we could save the money instead of parking in a nearby garage). We loved this hotel — we'd happily stay here again!
GGuest UserWe stayed here on a 2 day vacation after getting married (not the honeymoon). We were on the 7th floor so we thought it would be rather quiet, or, at least, not too much ambient noise from outside. We were wrong. We heard cars, sirens and utility trucks like they were right outside our window. We heard the elevator ding every time someone called for one. The walls (exterior and interior) must be very thin compared to every other hotel we've been to.
We ordered Chinese from a nearby restaurant and it was very good, but we had way more than we could finish. Opened up the fridge and it was turned off! We turned it on high and it never got very cold. We probably should have called the front desk, but instead we told them on the way out.
The ice machine was broken on our floor and the vending machine would not take credit cards. The rooms are dated. The bathroom lights are very bright and only one switch for all of them. When going to the bathroom in the middle of the night you are blinded. This is ridiculous. There should be a way of illuminating in at least 2 stages or at least don't install concert lighting.
The staff were not friendly nor inviting. The pillows and sheets were nice, but the bet was very uncomfortable.
All in all I would never stay here again and wish I had seen a review like this when I researched area hotels.
GGuest UserWonderful front desk staff. We were in Chicago for a wedding, and the location, though in a mostly commercial area, was very good for walking around and setting the city. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay there again.
SsknoseyThe free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating.
There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm.
There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.
GGuest UserSeparate the truly excellent Webster Grille restaurant from this hotel and you have ... nothing that recommends staying here. But the Webster Grille is expensive ($95 steaks and up.) So, there is a bit of a mismatch. Check-in took forever because they had one person at the desk handling a line that literally went out the door. Hotels know who is coming in and should plan accordingly. I was here 5 nights, and 6 days and got housekeeping service twice despite asking for it each day. One day they came in and emptied the garbage cans and threw some towels on the bed and tossed in a couple of Keurig cups. There are just too many other options to stay here. The beds and sheets are pretty good, but it's just a place to stay - no frills and poor service. I will look elsewhere next trip.
GGuest UserGreat location, nice hotel! The room was beautiful, although I would prefer a bathroom door with more privacy :). The lack of properly closing doors is a design trend that makes no sense. They remodeled the lobby and cocktails are good! It was a good experience in general
GGuest UserWe attended the Chicago International Miniature show at the nearby Marriott O'Hare. Because that hotel was full, we booked the Springhill Suites. They ran a shuttle to the other hotel with a super nice front desk staffer driving. The hotel itself was fine and the free breakfast was above average. Parking was on long surface lots on both ends of the hotel, but there is also an underground garage. The onsite Outback steakhouse was a plus. Rooms were good, nice and quiet despite being near airport and freeway with a microwave and small fridge
