100 year old hotel that looks and feels like it. Needs a serious renovation. Also no computer available to check in for airline return flight. Restaurant with OK quality food but takes a long walk to reach, inconvenient.

There were multiple homeless people, under the influence standing out front of the establishment. I had to request the wine that was already supposed to be in my room. The room was very small with mold on the bathroom ceiling.

I was very impressed by the look of the Allegro! The lobby is stunning and they did great work on the room for such a small space. There was no room service! What kind of hotel does that??

The property is wonderful and in an amazing location in Chicago- when I went to check in, there was an extra $400 hotel standard fee in case of loss charged to my debit card- I did not account for the extra $400-i could not use my credit card as it was compromised a week earlier so I had to use my debit card- the $400 came off when I checked out but my cash spending was limited while I was there-
Not *******’s fault but to let users know to check for all the fees ahead of time
