My partner and I had an amazing stay at Phowadol resort and Spa. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We arrived 5 hours before check in, hoping to just drop our bags off, but they got a room sorted for us within the hour. The pool was well maintained and the gym had all the equipment you’d need with air conditioning. The pictures don’t do the rooms justice, we were in a tree house with a wrap around balcony. Not an issue for us, as we rented moped’s from the resort, but it’s a 10 minute drive to the town centre.

No staff , Many mosquitoes , Small lake in the middle of the villa that was horrible....and breakfast. Worth the price, room was fine

Location is good because you are in independent cabins, but cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence. The first room that we arrived very late had mold on the shower curtains, it had a terrible musty smell and the bed was as hard as the floor, and the tap dripped underneath and wet your feet... The next day we complained that for that money it was a shame and they gave us another cleaner one but the bed was equally hard and what you need on these trips is to be able to rest. It's a shame they don't take care of the place because it's beautiful. I wouldn't go back
