Average budget hotel, got the room for very cheap so can not expect that much. It is a old building that has been refurbished to some extent.. here are some pros and cons:
PROS:
*Excellent location - close to night markets and everything else
*Bottles of water
*Big room with large comfy bed
*Fresh towels , soap, and toilet roll
*Good view of the city from window
*Elevator (I like using stairs)
*24 hr reception
+Free wifi.. ok speed
*Quiet area.. not crowded
CONS:
*Rude check-in staff.. afternoon staff at counter was rude, gave me side eye, no hello or any greeting
*NO HOT / WARM WATER in shower at night - stood in the shower for over 5mins waiting for hot water to come on, never happened. Completely ice cold.
*Room not cleaned
*no shower gel, shampoo (doesn't bother me, can buy it for cheap at the shop)
*The shower isn't very well designed - shower area is very long.. not sure what they were trying to accomplish here. Can fit 3 people in there long ways lol bizarre
*Morning water goes from hot to cold, cold to hot after few seconds - no balance. Usually I can wash hair and shower in less than 5 mins, but here it takes me 15 because of the water
*Low water pressure in shower
*Missing shower curtain, water splashes everywhere on the floor right next to the toilet.
*No wall plug in room, only in the bathroom.. first hotel I ever been to where there's no wall plug, absolutely insane.
Question is.. is this a good place to stay?
If low on money and just for a few days, then yes.
If long term, no.. this place will drive you crazy.

Locationwise, nothing is very close, but most things are within a 10 to 20 minute walk, or an inexpensive taxi ride. The hotel is clean, but shows its age. Still, I'm finding it to be very comfortable. The refrigerator works, the air conditioning works, the bed is firm but not uncomfortable, the internet is reliable but on the slow side, you get two waters a day, but no shampoo. The staff is friendly. Overall, it's a good value.
