We had a lovely stay! Staff: The staff were very sweet. They didn't really speak English, but my non-Chinese-speaking friends could communicate fine using body language and Google translate. Food: True to the hotel's name, they did feed us a lot. Amenities: Exactly as expected from previous reviews. The hotel is older and it shows (e.g. dirty grouts), but nonetheless clean. Toiletries smell good.

Very good. Food is good and staff were friendly. We got upgraded rooms and very comfortable. Will come back again.

The food is really tasty for both breakfast and afternoon tea. The location is about less than 10 mins walk to the metro line 3. The room is clean with fully equipped amenities. However, when someone smoke in other room, the smell will leak into your room as well. If I come to Chengdu again, I will still choose this hotel.

Overall ok. Good breakfast. 500m away from both metro. Need some walk. Near to Jin Li but need to take didi.

Hotel is family style , the outside doesn't look fancy but the location is great. Manager 李 is so knowledgeable and take all of my problems even were not hotel related.

I was a solo traveller staying in the hotel in December 2023. Hotel was clean but bathroom's drainage was slow, so was a bit cautious during shower. Location was quite near to metro station.

Good place and good ambience, neqr the metro and bus station, also friendly staff here. I LIKE IT

The hotel location is good. Near the city center on a main road. Hotel is clean and the receptionist was helpful. One thing to mention that they could not process my international card which was working everywhere fine. I have to pay by cash during check in and they took a deposit over that. Another thing to look after is the name of the hotel is quite different than what is shown in trip dot com site. So I have a hard time to locate it on google map. May be the auto translation is to blame here.

If you want to stay in a hotel in Chengdu with basic facilities and good price, Lancheng Yuerong Food Culture Hotel is your choice. It is very easy to access the subway (so you can go around the city). It does not has a glory look decoration in the hotel lobby but provides all good basic hotel services. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the Chinese calligraphy practice facility in the lobby. It has exercise room but needs work to build it up. Regardless, we will definitely consider to stay in the hotel again for our next visit in Chengdu.

We stayed a total of 5 nights - a night when we flew in to Chengdu & 4 nights before we left Chengdu. The staffs at the reception were helpful & friendly. The same goes for the restaurant. Buffet breakfast for each morning has some variation & it was fabulous with abundance of choices. The night free 3 choices of noodles/snacks were also an added advantage. Free laundry & detergent was an advantage for us.
