Our first stay was on 26th March, the room was generally clean and brightly litted. However, as our rooms faced the main road, there was some noise. We reflected this to the front desk the net morning and the front desk intern, Mr 向秋平 listened to our feedback and agreed to change our room when we returned 5 days later that are not facing the main road. He was also very helpful and gave us advice how to travel via train to our next destination. When we returned 5 days later, true to his words, our two rooms were changed to the quieter side of the building. However, the rooms were on the second floor and the carpet along the corridor seems to have mould. The rooms were slightly bigger and we were also pleasantly surprised by the spread of the buffet breakfast, with fruits, cakes, bread, Chinese food etc. It was the best breakfast during our stay at Hunan. We needed help to get transport to the train station at 长沙南, a female intern was extremely helpful to help us with DIDI app to order two cars. She even walked us out to the pick-up point and communicated with the cab driver about the cab fares. We really had a pleasant stay at Ibis, very reasonable price with good attitude staff and nice breakfast.
