Villa Totò Resort

We always try to find smaller boutique hotels to stay at when we travel and we found Villa Toto Hotel online. We spent a few nights at Villa Toto in October 2023 and want to share our wonderful experience. The staff is fantastic and the service is 5-star. The hotel is situated on top of a hill overlooking the ocean and the villages below. Mainly Cefalu, which is amazing and has so much to discover. There are only 10 rooms and they are beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and all amenities needed. We had a charming balcony with two chairs, a table and incredible views! That was also a perfect place to hang our pool towels to dry. The amazing infinity pool is luxurious, there are showers and toilets available by the pool and a staffed bar offering a selection of drinks and food for lunch. So peaceful, relaxing and simply marvelous. The hotel offers a really cute tuk-tuk shuttle down to Cefalu and back during the day. It’s also fine to walk down to Cefalu (about 10 min) At night we would take a taxi back to the hotel and it was very easy to do. Cefalu is wonderful and the beach is perfect for spending a whole day at, and swimming in the warm ocean. Villa Toto offers a great breakfast with lots of choices and different home baked goods daily. The coffee is superb. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We booked this short break at the last minute and really had no idea what to expect of Villa Toto. On arrival we soon realised that we’d stumbled upon a very special little hotel which was so wonderful in every way. There are only 10 bedrooms and it’s a very quiet vibe which may not appeal to all. However we absolutely loved the peace and tranquillity of the place. The rooms were spotless, well appointed and comfortable, even offering a choice of pillow types. The staff treated us like family and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included and offered a good choice with many home baked cakes and pastries. Lunches were served by the pool and although only a small menu the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Their house Chardonnay wine was a bargain and tasted delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back.

As soon as we arrived for our stay at Villa Toto we felt relaxed. This beautiful small hotel ( only 10 rooms) was only opened in 2022 and the Hotel and pool are set in lovely gardens with lots of mature Olive trees. Francesco, Stella and all the staff are friendly and really helpful. Although the Hotel is set a bit further up the hill from the Old town, it only takes about 15 minutes slow walk down. However, you don't need to walk either up or down as the Hotel runs a free Tuktuk service! The breakfasts are really good and taste even better eaten outside sitting under the Olive trees. If you want a chilled day relaxing by the pool, the Hotel offer lunches with the bar open from lunchtime until late evening. All the rooms have balconies or terraces with views, and our room was modern, spotlessly clean and very well appointed with a great spacious shower. All in all a great end to our Sicily adventure, and I would highly recommend .

We stayed for 8 very enjoyable nights. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with great views. The pool area and infinity pool were definitely a highlight. The room and hotel were kept spotlessly clean & all staff helpful friendly and attentive. There was a great variety at breakfast which is included in the room rate. You can also have lunch from a small menu which was really tasty & full of flavour and a good variety of drinks available from the pool bar. The location is very peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind after a day’s sightseeing. Walking distance into town although all uphill on the way back. A shuttle is provided mon- sat on a cute little tuk tuk 9 till 7pm. You can easily get a taxi in the evening from town back to the hotel after dinner & drinks which we did every evening. There is ample secure parking for those with cars. The staff can arrange airport transfers & excursions which we used to and from the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel it ticked all our boxes and we would happily stay here again. Thank you Villa toto for an amazing holiday.

Villa Toto Resort was our second stop on a tour of Sicily with our 2 older teenage daughters. We spent 5 nights enjoying the stylish boutique hotel, relaxing at the stunning infinity pool and enjoying cocktails, spritzes and delicious wine over the view. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and really made the stay a home away from home. The fresh continental breakfast varied each day and we enjoyed it under the olive trees overlooking the view. Our highlight was our cookery school with deliciously simple and fresh Sicilian dishes and wine. We loved the town of Cefalu and taking the complimentary tuk tuk to/from the hotel was fun - and we even got used to the long walk up the hill on the way home once the service stopped! Thanks to all the staff for making our stay special!

This hotel is in a beautiful setting and has just about the nicest staff we've ever had., anywhere. Stella in reception , Katerina the bartender and all around helper, and the woman who served breakfast (I did not get her name) really made us feel welcome. They went above and beyond to greet us, make us comfortable and make great recommendations for restaurants and other activities. They served us drinks at the pool on my birthday, setup one of the outdoor tables for one evening's picnic dinner, and even packed up breakfast for us when we left for an early flight home from Palermo. As for the hotel itself, the pool area is gorgeous, with lemon and orange trees and various herbs and flowers around it, and views of La Rocca in the distance. The hotel room was nice. and had a little balcony. I would give this place 5 stars, except that the location is a little difficult -- an easy 10 - 15 minute downhill walk into the town, but a seriously strenuous 25 minute hike back up to the hotel (we had a car, but didn't want to deal with driving and parking in town, especially after wine with dinner). The hotel does offer free transport via a golf cart, but only until 6 pm. Of course Uber and taxi is always an option as well. The only other not 5 star aspect of the place is the room/bathroom. It's one of those modern setups where the bathroom is enclosed by opaque glass walls, but it is nevertheless right there in the bedroom, so you can't help but hear everything. Nevertheless, our stay was great and exactly what we needed, as Cefalu was our final stop after a 2 week counter-clockwise road trip around the entire island. We'd definitely stay there again if/when we return to Sicily.

We are having an amazing stay at Villa Toto. The accommodation is beautiful. The grounds are beautifully kept with a lovely small swimming pool with lots of sears. There is a shuttle that will take you down into Cefalou. All the staff are so helpful. There is a bar by the pool which is open all day. Breakfast also very good with selection of fruits, meats, cheese and also delicious cakes. Coffee also excellent! Would definitely recommend Villa Toto.

excellent service from every member of the staff nothing was to much and they delivered if you asked for anything that you needed so impressed booked an extra night here to extend our experience. Rooms comfortable lovely mattresses and bathroom so spacious

We stayed at Villa Toto for one night while touring Sicily. It was so incredible we changed our travel plans so we could come back for another night at the end of our trip. The hotel grounds and pool area are stunning. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are modern and well equipped. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Would love to come back.
