Le Calette Bay

My boyfriend and I booked a couple of nights in this hotel when our air bnb didn’t work out and we LOVED it. Our stay really made our trip to Sicily that extra bit amazing. Firstly, the staff are so welcoming and helpful. We got there quite late in the evening and they were super helpful with getting us some food for dinner and taking our bags. We then had a problem where we were assigned the wrong room, so they very quickly fixed this and kindly gave us an upgrade to the most stunning room with sea views and jacuzzi bath. Secondly, the pool area is lovely. We ordered food and drinks to our loungers and just enjoyed relaxing in the sun during the day. We did come early in the season so the beach restaurant was not open but I’m sure this would really make the experience. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely try and go back if we visit Sicily again.

Impossible Management Behavior, arrived arround 19 p.m. at LeCalette Hotel, booked was a standard room for over 300 Euros, they showed us a room beside the main building, more a beach cabin than a hotel room (refer to fotos) with a bathroom of about 2 square meters that was not even close to the fotos in the internet of a standard room. We was tired from the journey so we decided to stay one night and complained the next day at the reception and after some discussion got another room - still not what was advertised in www - but we accepted the room. This is not the behavior of a 5 star resort management - it is inacceptable ! Service was excellent as well as breakfast and pool region, but the „Michellin Star“ restaurant is also not worth visiting. The offered meals only got points for optical arragement, but did not taste that good, you eat better and much cheaper downtown Cefalú. Minus 2 Points for the Management, minus 1 Point for the Restaurant. Dissapointed Roland Borst

We had actually booked a room in their sister hotel which ended up closing early for the season so we got an upgraded suite here for a great price. We knew it was very off season (mid November) but we were blessed with 70's weather so we loved our two day stay. The service was first rate. The bartender could not have been nicer and our first night we had a light bar dinner complete with Amaro at the end. The reception tour was very thorough and they did a great job settling us in our room. The room was very spacious with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the sea and the pool. it was almost as large as the room itself. Keep in mind they call it a boutique hotel but there are actually 70 rooms so it's on the larger side which was fine for us as it was not crowded in November but that could be a drawback. They have a fantastic gym which I took advantage of (it was the best gym so far in my 2 week Italy trip) with nice equipment and Jolena (gosh, I hope I got her name right) and the spa was AMAZING -I am a massage snob and I would say she gave me one of the best sports massages of my life - I'm like a different person today. Brava!! The room has a coffee machine, mini bar (water included), 2 sinks, jacuzzi top and nice amenities. I only have minor suggestions but none of these detract from our awesome stay. 1-not sure what is the deal in Sicily but at a nice resort like this, it would be nice to have soft 2 ply toilet paper instead of small squares - maybe a cultural thing? I mean buy some Charmin! 2- likewise, a few washcloths (very small hand towels) for face and bidet would be appreciated as it's hard to use the larger size towels 3- we walked to town every night but there is one VERY dark patch right when you leave their property (but still their property) which is creepy - it would be VERY advisable to put lights here on the wall so no one feels uncomfortable walking into town and back at night. Even with our iPhone flashlights, it was DARK and kind of back-alley like. I loved the walk into town but this could easily be addressed. Finally, breakfast was AMAZING - a great deal. We did not get to eat at Cala Luna as we opted for the old town (which is great). Thanks to all the caring staff who went out of their way to make our visit special. Be sure to request Jolene at the spa! Beautiful spot and a great private property with lots to do even in off season.

Stayed here to relax after five days of wedding celebrations in Taormina - and it was just perfect. So very chill. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and two lovely little in-site (albeit rocky) beaches. There’s also a shuttle to a quiet, sandy beach in Cefalu proper. Peaceful, quiet, just heavenly! Highly recommend! (The hotel’s Cala Luna restaurant was also the best meal I’ve ever eaten).

Beautiful views at every turn and wonderful amenities. We loved every meal of our stay, especially a special dinner at Cala Luna overlooking the bay! There was so much to explore on property and it was an easy walk to the port to catch our boat tour. The walk into down was equally enjoyable, but uphill as you walk into town (about 20 minutes). The coves and the Reef Club were stunning and unexpected. You could easily stay on property for the duration of your stay but Cefalu has a magical quality about it with its meandering streets. Breathtaking all around!

We drove over from the heart of Cefalu to spend the day at the beach club and it did not disappoint. Excellent views, comfy sun beds, friendly staff and scrumptious lunch at the restaurant. If you want to swap out the sandy beach for a calmer, fancier surrounding - this beach club is for you. We would come back.

Very well run boutique hotel. They kindly ungraded us to a villa with an amazing terrace and deck. Very comfortable accommodations with sitting room. Two baths and bedroom. Views were mesmerizing. Service was prompt and friendly. Swimming platform on rocky shoreline offered crystal clear waters. Nice pool on upper level. Breakfast buffet was included and it was varied and fresh. Did not get to the fine dining on site but other guests raved about it. Short walk to town and many options for drinks and dining. Would highly recommend .

Absolutely amazing, best place I’ve ever stayed at. We didn’t want to leave, pure luxury

What a beautiful hotel! The rooms are fairly basic but the common areas are absolutely lovely and the pool area is gorgeous with spectacular views. The sunbeds on the lower level are an added bonus with a small step ladder taking you straight into the sea for a dip. Breakfast was amazing and served outdoors just beyond the pool area. The town is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride. A lovely touch was the elderly talented gentleman playing the piano at the bar in the evenings. Highly recommend this hotel.
