Profumo Collection Ripetta

Worst family holiday ever in this place. We arrived at 7pm for check in. No running water in the shower, just toilet. It took them 2 days to fix it. Shower was full of mold and all room smelled moldy. Out allergies went up high! See photo below. Air conditioning was not working. We wasted three half days with their technicians fighting in our room because they said A/C was working and we had to stay to show them every day. Lost several Rome tours for this reason. WiFi was spotty. They charged me $2,000 for a five nights stay and after all this mess, they said they would refund 2 nights for the inconvenience!! WTH!! After 12 days, I haven’t received a single penny in refund and I am just exhausted of fighting with these people who behaved so unethical and unreasonable. The only reasonable person is Valeria, but unfortunately she has a limited authority, as apparently the owner is the person who makes decisions and he simply never called or showed his face. He just didn’t care his crappy business. Don’t ever stay in this place. It looks nice in pictures and has a great location, but it is simply not worth to lose your money and be treated like this.

The property is in a nice neighborhood and many taxis that wait at the piazza Popolo making it very easy to get around. The room was clean and the service was very accommodating to our special needs. We lost an expensive item at the room and they held it for us. The only negative is that the main bed is a bit hard.

The staff was friendly and responsive during communications. The rooms are large, comfortable, and felt very new. Very glad I found this hidden gem.

Clean and spacious rooms located at Piazza del Popolo, near restaurants and world class shopping district. Short walk to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Friendly and helpful staff at this boutique hotel. Perfect spot to enjoy Rome.

The smell in this unit was of dense mold. My daughter was nauseous so we had to move to another place. There were four of us and there wasn’t enough room for our luggage. It is so tiny and so hot. I contacted the property letting them know I had to leave And requested a refund for the two days we didn’t stay, and I have yet to receive anything. Due to the last minute, we had to pay quite a bit more for the hotel we moved to.

Amazing place. Modern and well decorated. We are a family of four with two teenagers and the double bed unit fit us just fine. The location was incredible. Walking distance to shopping, coffee, amenities and main historical landmarks in Rome. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.

Interesting stay as we never met any service staff. Communication via WhatsApp and picked up key from building entryway. We had the basement room. Room was nice but I didn’t like having no windows. Otherwise location was great, and room was clean and comfortable.

We travel a lot and been in Europe many times so we are not picky or anything but always looking for value. The hotel gave us a room in the basement and I went through the hotel description it’s not mentioned there. Every time we turned on the A/C it started smelling like sewage and the room felt wet. The bed and the pillows felt like you are sleeping on the bricks and there were no windows in the room. It was never mentioned in the description that it’s on the street level and it made our sleep impossible because of the noise from outside. Overall experience not worth the money.
