The location of the hotel is very good, it is definitely a summer resort in summer. There is no hotel private beach at all. Don't even think about it except to see a small bay or beach. The price is not cheap, nearly 500 dollars a night, the hotel only provides a few pool bubbles. There is a golf course, and the hotel staff is absolutely top-notch service, which is commendable.

Booked this property based on experience at other Home2's, but IMO, it fell short of the standards for the brand. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, coffee and tea kept stocked, and location great for those going to Legoland. However, the king suite with curtain didn't offer the privacy for one person to sleep and the other to read or do anything besides sit in the dark, as the curtain is translucent and doesn't filter light (see photos). To make it worse, lamplight reflects off the TV screen, doubling the effect. Room doors will either slam loudly or, if one tries to not slam it, will not quite close completely to lock without an extra tug, a safety issue. Biggest disappointment was with the breakfast area, which appears to have staffing and resource management issues (see photos). The hot dishes are not labeled. I thought the pan of white mystery clumps contained fresh cheese curds at first, an unusual offering, but whatever... Then I took a bite...disgusting...imagine what unseasoned boiled earlobes might taste like. I had to ask what it was when I could finally locate someone working in the kitchen. It was supposedly scrambled egg whites, which made a daily appearance the week I was there, along with pork sausages (had to ask about that, too, since I don't eat pork). Gluten-free options are limited to proteins and fruit, with Cheerios in a large dispenser, subject to cross-contamination. Fresh fruit was not wrapped. I saw one guest handle each and every apple before he selected one. Ewww. Each day, there was a shortage of plates (see photo with no plates under or on counter). I was delighted to finally be able to eat on my last day there, when the pre-packaged hot bites included a delicious gluten-free frittata instead of the Jimmy Dean pork breakfast sandwiches which had been the only choice for days before. Will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Really good stay overall. Room service was great, pillows and bedding were soft and clean. Only major downside was that the water from the bathroom sink smelt like sewer water. Midway through our stay, they ordered a service to come look at it, but it did not fix the issue. We had to keep our own water in the bathroom to wash our hands and brush our teeth, unfortunately.

The hotel is next to Lego Park~ It is the most convenient place if you go to Lego to play. The parking fee is 22 dollars for a day~ When you enter the door, you can tell the entrance that you can pay for parking at the hotel if you stay in the hotel. The hotel will give you a card for you to enter and leave the hotel. One of the advantages of staying in a hotel is that you can enter Legoland early to play~ Breakfast at the hotel is still OK. If you have a Chinese stomach, you probably need to buy something to eat with you~ Because the breakfast is very American~ The temperature of the air-conditioning in the hotel room is a bit problematic, but not at night Warm breeze~ Because I came to California in winter, it’s still a bit cold at night~ Also, it’s better to check the official Lego website to see if the door is open when I come in the off-season. Because the opening time is uncertain in winter~ I just caught up to it this time. It’s also a good choice to spend a night in Lego hotel to enjoy the tranquility

The hotel is worthy of being a Hilton, with drinking ice water, hot springs and swimming pools. It is very close to Legoland, a 10-minute walk, and not far from the beach, where you can see the sunset over the sea. The American restaurant in the hotel has authentic taste and large portions.

The front desk service was huge. We arrived at the hotel at around 12 o'clock in the evening. We had a long-distance drive all day. We thought that the sheraton service could not be bad. I knew that the front desk was a fat white man. When I checked in, I kept rolling my eyes all the time. When I applied for membership, I was too sleepy and didn't respond. I asked a question. The front desk immediately replied, ”I am very busy today, don't ask me to see it yourself.” At that time, I thought it might be too late. The front desk had emotions, and it was true that in April, it was obvious that the trash was a hostile phenomenon. After the completion of the process, I did not tell me how to find the room, just an understatement, ”Go through the door.” As a result, there was only 3 floors in the back of the lobby, and our room number was 50. I asked him back. He confirmed that he was on the 5th floor. He immediately left the lobby and told him not to look back. In desperation, I had to bite the scalp on the third floor. Fortunately, I met a couple of black couples who went downstairs to buy wine in the middle of the night. They were very friendly and said that they also found a room for a long time during the day. The actual situation is that the sheraton hotel and the next resort share the lobby and porch. You need to go upstairs through the hotel room corridor, find a glass door at the end, swipe the card and then take the elevator to the resort floor. On the night of the check-in, I sent a complaint letter to the Shereton complaint mailbox. It has been two months since I saw it. Today I saw the app reminder comment. The disgusting feeling of Lima is coming to the fore, and I have to give a bad review.

LLEIThe rooms are very large and clean. The pool is divided into adults and children. The children must go to the children's pool every day. There is a great beer house restaurant at the entrance of the hotel. You can solve the problem by visiting Legoland. Outlet is less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel, recommend the Grand Pacific Hotel to Legoland, walk no more than 10 minutes
LL7360FIpbHorrible business practices at this Motel 6. Worst experience someone could have with a hotel, on a Friday. No rooms were available but evidently I had caught the last minutes of their lower rate. How could I know? Man slammed down the phone on me. I was lied to, with an hour to vacate. There were plenty of rooms just for 15.00$ more. I had a guaranteed and paid reservation. Jerks. And they never tried to help me or make things right. Don't trust these people. Don't stay here longer term. If you need basic empathy or have a problem no one can really help, which is a bad situation.Rooms are great but the user friendliness is absent. I felt discrimated against. What apology could fix something like that or how this management disrespects its paying guests? Terrible service.
吴吴Opposite the outlet, shopping and eating are very convenient. The hotel check-in time is at 4 pm. I can't check in early. The beach recommended by the waiter is really good. The sand is fine and clean. The hotel is quiet and there is a swimming pool, nice!
FFEIFEIHow should I evaluate it? The front desk service is still very good, because my family had a wounded man with a broken leg and crutches. I specially arranged the first floor and showed me first. But when I entered the hall, the cleaner was mopping the floor and the floor was slippery. My patient fell again and was injured twice. The most important thing is that, for some reason, Ctrip sent a text message saying that we did not check in and deducted another time. I wonder if it's a Ctrip problem or a hotel problem? In short, the communication is not smooth. This is the second time that the check-in information cannot be checked for repeated deductions during this trip to the US Causes us a lot of trouble. I hope Ctrip will pay attention to it instead of blocking my comments
I'm really frustrated that average American families and couples can no longer get a ”basic” comfortable hotel room, but are stuck having to deal with poor quality and poor customer service. I should have had a heads up that it was going to be bad when there was a bunch of crumbled pop-tarts on the floor in front of the front desk. The chair in the lobby sagged out and there was a pipe that looked like a refrigerator pipe connected to nothing. But we had already pre-paid so there was no going back. The worst part of the experience was that they put supper rattle-y plastic liners on the mattress with no mattress pad over it, so the bed rattled every time you tossed and turned in the night. Very irritating and uncomfortable as the mattress cover was loose and bunchy. There was no quilt or comforter - just a light coverlet. I really prefer an actual comforter. The heat / AC also rattled any time it was turned on - sounded like plastic flapping in the breeze so I had to try to sleep over the sound of a rattle-y mattress cover and AC. My boyfriend noticed the coffee maker was not working correctly and was sputtering so he tried to unplug it (no off switch) but it was wired through furniture and impossible to turn off / unplug. He ended up burning himself trying to get it unplugged. There are no bedside lamps so you can't have your own side on to read or get up to use the bathroom in the night, but instead have to turn on the overhead lights. Please get lamps and a nightlight as it's super dark and hard to get to the restroom safely in the night. There was no plastic laundry bag - this is pretty much standard in all hotels I've been in before. Where am I supposed to put my dirty laundry? This should be a given to have one. Also, the tub enamel was damaged and filled in with what looked like janky bond-o. Not a real repair. The side tables had pieces of quartz covering but they were not secured to the tables which could be a hazard if a small child pulled it onto their feet. The phone did not work so I had to walk to the front desk. Last of all, it's right next to the freeway so an ugly view of the freeway / parking lot with cheap fake grass. When we complained to the front desk about our issues they refused to give us any $ off or really do much of anything except offer to have someone come look at the coffee maker. Most good hotels will bend over backwards to provide good customer service but here there is next to none. Everything is done to the very bare minimum. I have a feeling the staff who own the place don't sleep on rattle-y mattress covers and have to listen to janky AC all night. But the guests - who cares - just squeeze as much money out of them for the minimum of amenities. It's all about making money over quality and customer service. I would advise people to spend more $ for a much higher end hotel to avoid all this BS as it was a disappointing way to spend what was supposed to be a fun / romantic weekend wi
LLubarskyOur stay was nice and relaxing, which was the reason for getting away. The room was pleasant and very clean. And the bed was comfortable. I slept like a baby. There weren't many amenities, but they did have the most important one, as far as I'm concerned, the beautiful swimming pool. I was very inviting. And the customer service was great. Very friendly, professional staff. I would definitely recommend Motel 6, to my friends and family.
Budget Motel, obviously run 'on a budget'. Our ground floor room (123) was clean and basic, no frills, just in need of some upgrading and a fridge/coffee maker, etc, etc. This however would then increase the daily rate for the room. We felt safe, the bed was fine, aircon wasn't noisy, shower worked and the towels were adequate. Sure we've stayed in better places, but this was a great price and where we wanted to be (walking distance of 'down town' Carlsbad). No bugs, no problems, front of house staff pleasant enough, decent care free stay of two nights.
GGuest UserWe had booked 2 rooms at this hotel for a Carlsbad weekend. It was simply the worst hotel we had ever seen. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. It was not what we expected at all. In order to utilize the kitchen facilities and a coffee maker, you had to check them out at the front desk. There really was no breakfast facility as advertised. They said they put some packaged goods on the table by the front door. When we got to the room, it smelled and did not feel clean. We didn't feel that the sheets were clean and looked for bed bugs quite honestly. My girl friend said she would sleep with her clothes on because it felt so dirty. My son and his wife moved three times trying to find a decent room. We tried to move as well. They offered us the first room he was assigned and turned down. When we went to the second room they offered, there were rings from drinks on the kitchen counter and what appeared to be a significant amount of ashes in the bathroom sink. At that point, we went back to registration and they offered to cancel our reservation. The front desk was very accommodating, so we were very happy with their response. They were the best part of our experience. We left and I couldn't get the smell out of my nose for almost an hour. It was a combination of cooking smells and cleaning fluids. The word that we all kept saying was that it needed to be a demo and total rehab. It was probably the worst hotel experience any of us have ever had.
GGuest UserI think this place recently changed hands. The evening staff that greeted me when I arrived was eating her dinner - noodles- at the check in desk. Nevermind Covid still being a ' thing' , she continued to eat while checking me in. She was extremely rude and acted like checking me in was more of an annoyance than anything else. She didn't tell me what room I had, what the WiFi password was, amenities etc. The inhospitality of the staff remained the norm throughout my entire stay. That is with the exception of one housekeeping person and a new staff member named Christopher. The door magnet didn't work The coffee was like Folgers and terrible There weren't any drinking glasses in the room and only one coffee cup The bed was so soft I had to put a pillow under my back I could go on Trust me there's a lot more But suffice it to say All in all A motel 6 would have been more comfortable This was not a great experience. However ALL could have been overlooked if the staff was friendly. They should hire Christopher to manage it He knows hospitality. Oh and I should add That at checkout time The owner it manager who wears a shiny tan suit Makes sure there's a police car outside ready to get rid of any guests who don't check out in time. That's right - he's a pushy mafioso type person. Very rude and in your face. Too to the hotel Get the shiny suit guy off the property. He's bad for biz. Carlsbad is a high end destination place and he is more appropriate for Folsom.
