Hyland Inn Near Legoland

Good location, easily accessible on/off highway 5. Room was decent for price and satisfied with both management and staff room was fairly clean and functional.  TV had limited stations but also provided ample choices.

They do not have any shampoo and body lotion when I talked to the front desk they said that will come and refill it and never happens

The room was dirty. The bath tub was stingy. The sheets on the bed was dingy. The refrigerator was old and rusty, and I requested that they canceled my reservation, but they took the first day pay from me. The room on the site looked totally different from the room that I seen in person.

I was expecting this hotel to be a good spot for my family and I to rest. The covers had stains on it . The room still had trash, ĺ

Great price, Front desk not presant and took a while to check in, old place rooms could use remodel, but decent maid service, and room was clean. Checked in at approx 7 pm and when asked about an extra hour check out I was told that they do not do that there, all and all about a 2-1/2 to 3 star place.

Nice staff, clean rooms and convenient location to Carlsbad Village at an affordable price. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from outside as well as the rooms above and next to the room you’re staying in. However, we enjoyed our stay overall. One suggestion would be to add hooks or a metal bar to hang towels in the bathroom.
