My sister and I had a beautiful experience at the Mt Nelson High Tea, with Cheslyn as our super-star waitress! She was so attentive, had a great sense of humour and truly elevated our experience! The food was sensational, and the versatility and range offered unmatched.

We were at Mount Nelson for high tea. The food on offer was excellent. What we liked best was the friendliness of the staff, from the moment we got out of the taxi until we said goodbye. We would particularly like to mention Cheslyn, who looked after us wonderfully. Dear Cheslyn, thank you very much. We would love to come back.

Popped in for the afternoon tea & first of all, the hotel & grounds are stunning. Serene, beautiful, & makes you not want to leave. The attention to detail, from the decor, artwork, down to the beautiful washrooms is well thought out. The highlight of the high tea for me was the desserts & the service. The tea sommelier and my server of the day Andiswa were great. Would definitely come back.

Noon High Tea at Mount Nelson under the steady hand of an excellent tea sommelier and outstanding service from Thuli is not to be missed. The selection of petit sandwhiches and sweets were so very enjoyable, especially the prawns on brioche was delectable. Welcomed with a nice rose champagne followed by a vast assortment of delectable teas. A walk around the captivating grounds capped off a stellar experience! Enjoy yourselves, we certainly did! ☕️

I had the best experience because of Thabisa. She made the whole High Tea experience worth having. She was sunshine in human form. Mount Nelson is undeniably beautiful. The atmosphere, the pianist was so talented gave me goosebumps. I love my whole experience.

zanele was very attentive and provided great professional service. food was amazing and fresh and the gin iced tea was divine. amazing setting and ambience. definitely sit next to the fountain for tranquility. would recommend for a lovely afternoon with friends and family
