If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with excellent service, Fernwood Manor won’t disappoint! The breakfast at Fernwood Manor is delicious. The staff members at Fernwood Manor are attentive, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The exquisitely decorated air-conditioned rooms are spacious and comfortable. The entire guest house is impeccably clean and well-maintained. From the rooms to the pool area, everything is spotless.

This beautifully converted home is a little piece of paradise on a quiet street in Cape Town. It has lovely rooms, common areas, lounges, a bar, a pool, and gardens. There are many places to snuggle with a good book and privacy. Breakfast is great, and there is an honor bar with all your favorite drinks and cocktails. The rooms were clean, and the service was wonderful. My only problem was arriving home at night, and it was dark. While there are locked gates, security cameras all around, and the staff live on the property; I did have a moment of fear until I got to my room and could lock the door. I know this is not a problem in general.

A pleasure to stay at this well run and very comfortable boutique guest house situated in a leafy suburb 20 minutes from Cape Town Waterfront and 15m from the airport. Breakfasts were superb and it was very easy to relax by the lovely pool. Stylishly furnished throughout and its honesty bar was much appreciated. Emanuela, Jane and all the team worked hard to make our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

Well selected for its location in Newlands equal distance between the harbour front, Table Mountain and the airport. Well served by Uber, and off the beaten track. A delightful spacious old building with all the mod cons. The room was comfortable and airy. As a B&B the generous breakfast was served by very attentive staff and so set up for a great day out. Well informed about local restaurants some within surrounding walking distance down pleasant tree lined boulevards. I would return any time

Fernwood Manor is a wonderful place. I was there for 8 nights and didn’t want to leave. My room was lovely and thoughtfully furnished, with efficient A/C. Breakfast was abundant - fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese and cold meats - and eggs, pancakes, French toast, etc. cooked to order. But, over and above all that, the best part of my stay was the team of Emanuela and Nathan, who run the guest house perfectly. I called Nathan fairly late one night for help with a lost phone and wallet (I thought). He cheerfully put up with my semi-hysteria, allowed me to phone my firm’s IT person in the USA, and helped every way he could - including finding my phone and wallet the next day in a place I thought I’d searched! I have already booked my next stay in May/June. I feel so fortunate to have found Fernwood Manor through TripAdvisor. Thank you, Emanuela and Nathan.!

This is the perfect retreat, quiet, beautiful and very clean. We spent 5 days here and did not want leave. Personnel is super friendly and quiet, the salt water pool refreshing and exquisit, not too cold. The garden is gorgeous and beautiful. Fabulous breakfast. We will come back and strong recommend this very unique paradise! If you love to hike, the Constantia Neck is only 10 minutes away.

This is a very tasteful, upmarket Boutique B&B run superbly by Emanuela and the rest of the team. The ambiance is laid back elegance in a tranquil setting. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. I have stayed in 3 different rooms, all of which are spacious and refined.

Fernwood Manor is a very comfortable Guest House. It has plenty of spaces to hang around, a great honesty bar, a nice pool and spacious and comfy rooms. Breakfast and service are great. The location is ideal to see Capetown and surroundings, it is in walking distance to Kirstenbosch botanical gardens and a short drive to Constantia. Presumably due to the time of the year (over Christmas) it was a bit short staffed, e.g. for enquiries.

From arrival to departure the service was excellent from every staff member, considerate, friendly and efficient. Lovely spacious room with all amenities provided. Excellent breakfast with a huge selection of fruit, cheese, juice and fully cooked to your order. Peaceful location - easy access to the city and the peninsula whether you are self driving or using Uber. Several comfortable seating areas with refreshment station. Highly recommended.
