The room is too cold and there is no air conditioning. There are no disposable items such as slippers and toothbrushes. The cafe is close to the roadside and the scenery is nice.

Pros: The room is clean and cleaned up in a timely manner. The breakfast is good, and the steak in the restaurant on the first floor can be slightly expensive.
Cons: No elevator.
However, there are few old hotels in the UK with elevators.

My hotel room was beautiful and convenient.
Staffs were friendly and was provided with more info regarding the area. Also the bar staff (male) was very helpful as I had dropped £10 while ordering drinks and he was really kind to hold it and rerurned back to me.
Foods were fresh and homemade.

I liked the fact it was a walkable distance from city centre and had carvery and steak grill on sight especially if you are female and travelling on your own

The facilities are just ok. It may have been renovated recently but it was done cheaply (tiles glued on tiles in bathroom) and with no attention to detail, it started outdating already.
Remote control for TV was very dirty, windows had mould on frames.
It wasn’t bad but we definitely will not be staying there again.
On the other hand we liked food and staff was really nice. The staff is dedicated to their job.
Restaurant is very nicely decorated but toilets in the bar leave a lot to wish for.
