The Ocean Lodge

We arrived very late but spent a good night at this hotel. I like the style of this hotel, and everything here is satisfied. Our cottage is so close to the beach, it's very convenience. And more, we liked the breakfast very much.

Our favorite Cannon Beach resort. The rooms are clean and beautiful. We love the ground floor and stepoing out to the covered porch to sit and bask in the susets (while also watching the bunnies frolic). Nightly happy hours include a good selection of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and chardonney plus heavy hors d’oeuvres. Free breakfast is delicious- a big variety of hot amd cold choices and freshbrewed coffee! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Plus some dog friendly rooms!

By FAR the best non-chain hotel we stayed in on our 2-week trip up the Pacific coast. The staff were amazing, the location is excellent, and the room was everything we hoped it would be. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

We had room 108… it was fine, but not what I’d call awesome. I’d expected more but several times checking in the staffer said “I see you booked through *******” and it felt like we had somehow done something bad? The room only has a view to the north, and it’s behind a berm, and your nextdoor neighbor is RIGHT THERE with no privacy. Loved all the staff except the check in guy. Fire in the beach was awesome, and we loved the wine and turndown service. If we book again we will request a different room.

The Ocean Lodge represents the highest standard of genuine professional comportment and hospitality. Ocean Lodge is set up for privacy and comfort. it would be my pleasure to give it a 6 star rating if possible.

Friendly staff, incredibly cozy rooms, location on the beach. All these little touches the ocean Lodge Provide make a huge difference! Complementary cookies at the check-in desk, complementary salt, water taffy everywhere you turn, and movie snacks along with 1000 DVDs to choose from. They really make you feel at home here!

This was our second time to stay here. We love everything about it. The location is perfect, the breakfast is really good, and the staff is super helpful.

Exceptional view, amazing hospitality team, incredible quiet setting that's away from downtown but still very close. Walk right up to Cannon Beach. Clean room and great turn down service!

The Ocean Lodge at Cannon Beach is perhaps the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at- definitely in my top three! It all begins with the incredibly beautiful location right on Cannon Beach. We could walk out of our first floor room on to a porch just steps from the beach with dramatic views of Haystack Rock, which was about a ten minute walk down the beach. The room was lovely and spacious, with a fireplace, robes, and dining ware. The bathroom was large and modern, with a double shower featuring additional jets of water. The staff was friendly and very helpful with our dining plans. A roaring fire in the lobby, free snacks, cocktail reception, and nightcap delivered to our door made our stay extra special and worth the splurge. Highly recommend this Pacific gem!
