Just returned from a five night stay in Alua Leo. We arrived at about 10pm. A cold salad type meal was waiting for us in the dining room as we had missed our main meal. This was appreciated. Reception staff were always helpful and courteous. We travelled with EasyJet Holidays and their system allowed us to choose a room upgrade. We were in room 150. The room was very clean (all parts of the hotel were very clean) and was an adequate size. Storage was limited. We had a huge terrace which had two sun beds, parasol and two ordinary chairs plus a small table. This was a great asset to the room. Beds were super comfy! There was a coffee machine but I’d suggest you bring your own coffee pods etc. Kettles can be hired from reception. As others have said, the room safe cost 3 euro a day. I thought this was a bit steep! There was a small fridge. We opted for half board. Food was very good. Dining room staff worked efficiently to clear tables etc. They were all cheerful and helpful. Pool area was well maintained. Plenty of Sun loungers and parasols - certainly for May time. The water in the pool was VERY COLD! Life guard on duty from 10AM. Pool towels can be hired for 10 euro deposit. At the time of our stay (20th-25th May) there were no daytime activities on offer. I’m not sure if this is a hotel that offers kids activities in the high season. There is not a gym. Location is excellent. Just about 10 mins from the airport. 2 mins to the sea. Long prom. Very safe for walking, jogging or cycling. A number 25 bus takes you into Palma in about 15 minutes. This can be caught across the road from the hotel. Beautiful sandy beach. Check out is at 12 noon and luggage can be stored. We had a lovely, restful holiday and if we return to Palma we would not hesitate to stay at Alua Leo again.

Excellent hotel! The airport is not far. My flight had a 36 hour layover, so the location of the hotel was important. The 24-hour front desk is excellent, since the plane was delayed and I got to the hotel well after midnight. Breakfast is good, vegetables, fruits in variety. There is a swimming pool and the beach is also not far away. The room is large, spacious and clean!

I have been very comfortable. Comfortable and spacious room, very close to the beach. Bus at the door. The staff is very attentive and kind.

My parents (70s), sister and our daughters (7,9) found this traditional family run hotel to be very friendly and perfect for our 4 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble, My dad asked to borrow a kettle and a corkscrew, both loaned with smiles. The staff are professional and courteous. Yes it's slightly dated but we enjoyed our stay more than a previous stay in a shiny, modern, rather impersonal hotel. The location is perfect, the breakfast traditional and plentiful. Our rooms suited us. My parents had a balcony looking over the square at the front of the hotel. We had a huge suite with plenty of space, no balcony but with 2 young children, we didn't miss it as we couldn't sit still for too long!!! The communal areas are homely, there are bikes to hire and a pool table. There was some noise overnight, from others moving around I think but earplugs sorted that, plus tiredness from swimming in the sea! I would stay here again.

Upon arrival on the 26/04 after a long journey, we were desperately seeking a nice cold drink. We headed to the rooftop bar however, the bartender was very rude. After waiting to get his attention we asked for 2 drinks. He immediately and without looking up, told us that we would have to wait. He continued to move stuff around the bar and ignored us. We eventually walked off. There were no other customers and it was 11.30 am and the bar was open.This was not a very pleasant first experience.

On arrival we thought it was fantastic, 5 mins from airport, looked very clean and straight across from the beach. On check-in we were delayed so didn't arrive until 2.30am, a man greeted us and seemed very nice, but within 5 mins his whole attitude changed and he became quiet aggressive. A young guest arrived in covered in blood with a serious head wound (looked like he had fallen) the man on reception just kept shouting at him to go away, we said it was fine and to see to the young man but he refused even going as far as to say he would put him and the other people trying to help him out if they didn't stop asking for help. He then threw change from our tourist tax down and took us over to show were breakfast was, when I asked is this were dinner is he stated you only have breakfast I said no we are half board, he then shouted when I ask you a question you reply only yes or no. Very rude. We did not encounter him again on our stay nor did we see the young guy who had injured himself or the 3 other people who had tried to help him. Anyways lift very small, rooms ok but all glass balcony so if people in all rooms you couldnt enjoy it, as you see everything.. we were also located right above a very busy roundabout so sleep was non existent. On out 1st day it rained all day so we decided to eat in the bar, there was 2 of us and 1 other guy in bar he ordered food and so did we. Within 2 mins of him getting his food he returned it, but then half our food came, nachos with cold chilli mince, we sent these back after alot of difficulty with language barrier and asked for it to be heated then came the chicken burger, it was a frozen processed piece of chicken in a bap that the bottom was frozen. Rather than return it and face the confusion on barmaids face again we wrapped the food up in napkins paid our bill and left to find the nearest bin. We then walked over to the Indian on the seafront and paid for another lunch (which is amazing btw) highly reccomend the indian the staff were super friendly and food was so fresh. We put the do not disturb sign on our door only to arrive back to room to find cleaners had been in twice on our first day. And each time they left the room seemed to be worse. We had silver fish insects in our room, dirt on floors , and long dark hairs in the bed (im blonde and my friend had green hair)we didn't complain to reception as the check in man didn't seem very approachable and being 2 girls here on our own we didn't feel it would be safe to say anything while still there . The hotel is situated 2 mins from palma aquarium which was fantastic, the beach is also beautiful. Some of the hotel needs alot of matinance, it is also situated right on a very busy main road and roundabout. With little to no soundproofing it was hard to get any sleep. Stayed 2 night here. The hotel attract you with a reasonable price for the location and room, but upon arrival, you are received as a noisiness. I asked for a room at a higher place, because they allocated me to a room on the first floor just in front of the stairs and elevator. This was enough to trigger the rage of the attendant that refused and rushed to serve the next guest in line, although they just arrived while I was attended. Very rude. The room was spacious enough, with a balcony to the main highway. It was old and very badly maintained, with many cracks, just like the many cracks in the stairs to the rooms. No kettle in the room, so you have to go downstairs' to the bar to buy your cup of tea or coffee for a hefty price. Breakfast and dinner where with lot a variety, but quality was sufferable. The worst part was the undrinkable coffee. The pool was nice. To the beach you have a walk some distance. Not recommended.

This hotel is right by the sea, but not all rooms can see the full sea. There is no beach in this section of the sea is reef, but the scenery is also very good, below is a bike path suitable for running cycling, straight to the city center. The breakfast is rich in variety and is very suitable for vacation.
