The staff was the only reason for not getting the lowest score. The were friendly, accomodating, and did everything to provide excellent service, but the overall neglect and condition of the hotel is why my score was so low. Lets start on the negatives...
1) The hotel on the website does not match the actual hotel. Many of the attractions/pools are not operational. The attractions for the kids are not operational or are in need of maintenance.
2) At one point i was in need of sunblock so i went to the onsite shop. When i went to the shop it was closed. There was a sign on the door "out to lunch" which was no problem and i figured i would just come back later. I came back two hours later and the shop was still closed with the "out to lunch" sign still posted, so i went to the service desk to ask when the owner would be back and the desk person could not answer... the response was " she has a habit of doing this... sometimes she comes back... sometimes she does not, and it all depends on the kind of day she is having....REALLY!?!? Why have this person there with a business if she doesnt care about selling anything??? Only thing i can think of is that she is related to the hotel owners, so she really doesnt need to work.
3) Exterior and interior of hotel needs to be renovated.

Reasonable stay. Nice hotel, very good water park but with few waiters for service. On the Saturday and Sunday of Carnival, the hotel was full and there weren't enough tables at the pool, the orders that were made at the pool were taking too long (more than 1 hour for a portion of kibbeh and fries), on Sunday they didn't have enough buckets of ice for drinks.
Ok breakfast and ok rooms. The bed was a positive point of the stay for having a very comfortable mattress for my taste.
In general, the experience was positive but I believe that they should prepare better for the occupation of Carnival days.

My family really enjoyed their stay at the hotel, uncle Pequeno and aunt Abelha (who take care of animation and children's recreation) were especially very friendly with my granddaughter, the other employees were also very polite and helpful.
Several options of activities, children's recreation and swimming pools.
The only negative point I would like to point out was the wi-fi which I found to be very slow.

Bad experience, hotel is destroyed. The pools were without water, only one with hot water. Children's part could not even have a photo published as it is so destroyed. Dirty hotel, no painting, lights missing in the corridors, dirty pools, bed linen with holes, towels are already transparent because they are so old. Tried to get my money back after even the toilet flush stopped working. They didn't want to give me back and change my room.
