Large parking lot with free parking; directly next to the train station. My room was spacious with 2 single beds. I only used one; presumably it's possible to put the beds together to get a king-/queen size. There's a Nespresso machine in the room - I sure do appreciate coffee in the morning. An electric kettle is available on request. Unfortunately the hallways have a strong smell of old cigar smoke. And there's no elevator. My room was at the backside of the hotel with a view of the cemetery next to the hotel. To me it meant a quiet night without the noise of cars or trains. Maybe less quiet if you're a clairvoyant. The personnel is friendly but seemed inexperienced. They sure did their best, but one doesn't serve a milk coffee if you asked for a Latte Macchiato. There's also a rather limited choice of snacks and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) so we ended up taking a trip to the nearby town for food. Breakfast was OK - not great. Again, limited choice. Altogether a reasonable hotel if you appreciate a spacious and relatively modern room for one night. But find a restaurant in town if you want a decent meal.

The room we were given was one for people with a disability, which meant it was very spacious. The decor was nice, the beds comfortable, although a little soft. The bathroom was also spacious and had everything a disabled person would need. It didn't bother us we were staying in this room. We didn't have breakfast but had a coffee which was good. Because this room is on the ground floor just behind reception and next to the breakfast room we did experience noise. There is a 24-hour coffee and tea making facility in the breakfast room which is great. However, when we were staying, there were people in there even in the middle of the night, as we could hear the chairs being used (scraping sound which was very audible in our room). That got worse when breakfast service really started in the morning. It made sleeping a little challenging. We would stay here again, but would definitely ask for a room on a higher floor and further away from the breakfast room. Check in and out was quick and easy and staff were friendly.

Favorite: The location is excellent. The hotel is very quiet and makes a very well maintained overall impression. It all works very new. Our room was modern and largely conveniently furnished. There is enough staff. The deep garage, which is simultaneously a bicycle garage, is very practical, but there are no loading possibilities for Ebikes. Not liked: The staff speaks and does not understand a word in German. You should at least speak enough Dutch or English. For this hotel category, the clothes of the servers appeared untreated. The kitchen is just OK. Attacked glass caraffles also don't fit in the picture. The hotel's priority is clearly at seminar events, which leads even the rooms used for breakfast to fall out partly because of an event. It is completely unpractical to cover all walking/ walking areas in the outer area. Women's shoes with sections are rather poorly suitable on this ground floor. In the room I would like to have a hand-and/or bathing towels on the hand.

I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff greeted me warmly with smiles, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The rooms are modern and impeccably maintained, and it's conveniently accessible by car with paid parking near the Jumbo store. The breakfast was also delightful. I highly recommend this establishment.

I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct ”seriously”. Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. This was a very unique, clean, comfortable, fun place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Any concerns about quiet or privacy with the caravans were quickly put to bed. We did not hear our neighbours and we could socialise or keep to ourselves as desired. The arrangement allowed for us to sit in front of the caravan with angles that allowed a view of the space but also not overlooking neighbours. The bed was very clean and comfortable! Each caravan had unique decor. The lobby area, VIP lounge, and the ‘camping’ area were clean and comfortable and each held things to do. Lovely vintage and nostalgic camp games and books to borrow. A big breakfast table and comfortable chairs, and several picnic tables. Real sand at the beach houses. A tree swing, a hammock and beanbags. The bathroom area was very clean and private despite being a shared area. Each toilet stall and/or toilet stall was floor to ceiling enclosed and private and kept very tidy and staff were frequently cleaning the area. In the lobby there were maps and discount cards for planning where to go. Fridges were available both for food/drinks we brought, and for a stocked fridge with beer, wine, soda. A very good espresso machine and snacks and dishes to use. Staff were friendly and helpful. This unique accommodation is in a quiet area and a short walk to Metro and Train. Although there were not many restaurants etc nearby to walk to- a Metro pass is inexpensive and we had no difficulty getting to all the sights within minutes. Bikes are of course an option too. Whenever we were tired, or if it was raining or hot outside, this place was like a little oasis with plenty to do until it was time to explore again. I would recommend for couples, families, singles, or groups.
