Hemu Taoyuan Guesthouse

The B&B is very close to the transfer station, and they offer a pick-up service. Otherwise, it's a bit of a steep climb, which would be tiring with luggage. The B&B itself is beautiful and cozy, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We booked the rooftop stargazing room, but unfortunately, it's hard to see stars at night because the surrounding area is so brightly lit.

The rooms were clean and equipped with high-tech facilities. This accommodation is located in the transfer center area, and there's a buggy service for check-in and check-out. However, it might not be suitable for elderly people with mobility issues. For instance, after returning from the old town to the transfer center, there was no buggy service back to the hotel. During this trip, my aunt's knee was hurting so much she needed a crutch and found it difficult to walk up the slope to the accommodation. We called to ask if they could pick her up but were refused, which, while understandable, was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was just so-so. Overall, the environment of the accommodation is quite good, and they even have cute cats and dogs. The room's balcony was also very comfortable.

This guesthouse has a really unique and well-designed interior, featuring high-quality wooden materials throughout. The rooms are equipped with top-notch amenities, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. My kids loved it too! A great guesthouse overall.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and it was warm at night – highly recommended! The service was also excellent; they even came to pick me up from Hemu Villa (I thought I'd just walk since I didn't have much luggage and didn't want to bother them, but they were so enthusiastic they insisted on picking me up 😃😃). When I twisted my ankle, they thoughtfully provided ice for a cold compress. The butler service was great; you could ask him anything.

The service was absolutely excellent. Due to a change in weather, our travel plans kept shifting, and the hotel staff were incredibly patient and communicative with us about the dates. The B&B's location is also fantastic, very convenient for transport. We only had to take one stop, and staff were there to pick us up, helping with our luggage the entire way 🧳. The environment of the B&B is wonderful, with fully equipped and very clean rooms. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it. You can see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains, and at night, you can lie in your room and watch the stars. It truly feels like a peaceful retreat in the mountains! The meat buns for breakfast were delicious 😋. We'll definitely be back next time it snows! Wishing the owner great prosperity!

The service was great, very warm and attentive. The decor is a bit old-fashioned and plain, but perfectly functional. The underfloor heating was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, with scallion and lamb buns and baursak buns, though it was a shame there were no stir-fried dishes. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The guesthouse's location is excellent, right by the Hemu Villa bus stop, which was very convenient for luggage. The owner even picked me up and dropped me off at Hemu Villa bus stop. It's also easy to get around using the scenic area's public bus, as it's only one stop away from the food street. Plus, there are four super cute puppies! The room was spacious and they even provided a military-style coat.
