Tired, old budget motel. Stayed there on our way to Luxembourg, hotel was 5-7 minute walk from train station. Restaurant was mediocre, room was small, very dated but clean. Breakfast was typical and plentiful. I would not stay there again.

It's basic hotel. Staff is friendly, and some speak Dutch and French. Not the cleanest place, and the food was basic but ok The beds were good, and was a 2 person bed (not 2 separate beds) The style is a bit dated, but that's taste The bathroom was small but clean and ok

did not know this was Best Western hotel. It's not comparable! This is a cosy, neat, well organised hotel. Receptionist is very helpful. Friendly too. Dogs are even welcome. Room was perfect sized, very neat. All comfort needed was present. Even shampoo and shower gel were provided. We booked 2 single beds in 1 comfort room, with small dog. Although it was fully booked due the amercian dat (event) it was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast has all it needs. Nice garden. Smaller private guest parking, but a nearby public parking has also easy access, when mentioned at the desk. We will return for a nice, relaxing weekend ... For sure !

Made our booking with a "Wonderbox". The communication on beforehand was very clear and saved a lot of time at the Check-in. The actual check-in was quick, clear and nice. The room was nice & clean, a little outdated, but we thought it was cosy. The bathroom had a big rain shower and large bath, which al worked fine. A little downside was that the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work too well, what caused that the mirror was fogged up and it took quite some time before this was gone. Another downside were the thin walls. We could literally here what our neighbours were saying. Pretty annoying, especially when it's late at night. Our neighbours also brought along their dogs, which we could here bark during the night. I think this is the biggest downside of the hotel, especially when you're not a "dog-person". Breakfast was ok, enough choice for us and the quality of the foods & drinks were good. The restaurant downstairs is also ok. Quality of the food is good, but the service can be better. Especially when you want to order, you have to do your best to get the attention of the waiter. But when they help you, they are very nice and helpfull. Tip: Park your car in front of the hotel, on the street. Which is free. The "hotel-parking" is too small and when you are the first one in, there is no way of getting out. Conclusion; The hotel is fine, it could be better but it's not too bad either.

We booked last minute, very late (11pm) online and arrived around midnight. We were met at reception by Luna, even though they advised check in up to 10.30. She was lovely! It’s a cosy, clean and quiet hotel. Would definitely stay there again !

In the info for the hotel there was mention of a parking for the hotel. When we arrived however we had to drive arround the entire block before finding the entrance to the 'parking'. There where only 4 places however and they where in such a way that getting out was impossible if one person parked a little spacious. After deciding to park on the street (which was free of charge) we went to check in. There was no one at the counter, and when calling the first number on the info we heard the phone ring in the next room but no one near. We then had to call a second number where we did manage to summon someone. The check in however was a little hard because the girl at the desk only spoke french, no Dutch, and not even a little bit of English. When finally getting to our room our first impression was good, the room was clean enough, with the exception of a few spider cobs, and some mold. The bathroom was nice with a big bath and a large shower, but the ventilation was not working so it was pretty damp pretty fast. The colours for hot and cold water where also switched arround, which is no big deal but just some minor details a hotel should not have. The bed was placed in a way that there was no head rest so the pillows constantly fell off the bed, especially since you had to use so many of them because of the loose pillows. The walls where very thin and we had very loud neighbours which made the night's rest not so good. There was also a smell of sigarettes every time someone from another room went to smoke on the balcony, which is not the biggest problem but the brochure says you will be fined €150 if there is sigarette smell in your room after you leave but how can you anticipate someone else going for a smoke? Breakfast was a little bit of a letdown, there was some choice but not a lot. The lack of any fresh fruit was a big letdown though. Diner was middle of the road, I did not like my dish but my wife liked her's so that's up to taste I suppose. The elevator was also very small, and made a lot of noise. We also got stuck a few times, which where small occurances, and we where even told of at the check in, but if it is known it causes so much issues maybe it's time for a renovation. The environment itself was also a bit of a letdown, there is the lake which looks a lot more impressive in pictures than it actually is. When we wanted to go for a hike we where also let down, because every trail we took wound up at a road. Maybe we just went the wrong ways, but in other parts of de ardennen we never had this issue. Conclusion: There was no big issues but everything together it was not what we hoped for.

First of all. Don’t bother going to the hotel restaurant. Me and my friends, we ordered pizza as we were with 8 people and we wanted to make it easiest for the kitchen. We were starving. We waited 2 HOURS for a pizza. NOBODY came once during 2 hours of torture to ask if we need extra drinks or anything. We sat for 2 HOURS with 1 glass of water each. Absolutely awful experience. Nobody cared about us. Secondly, I left behind a tshirt and tried to contact the hotel 4 times via email and 4 times via calls. ZERO care for the customer. Didn’t even bother to answer me. I do not recommend
