First, the smell of the room was really bad. Then the tv control didn't have batteries, and something in the bed caused us itching and hives.

The room was for the most part clean, floor a bit gritty walking in bare feet. The shower however was disgusting with mold.

Basically needed a place to sleep. Even so didn't meet expectations. No fridge as required, A/C didn't work. Bed was uncomfortable.

Comfortable clean rooms, location convenient to freeway access. Very friendly and nice staff. Always an enjoyable experience staying here.

Upon arrival, it was a quick check in and once I got into my room, very clean. Enjoyed dinner and a few, several, drinks up the street at the Firestone Walker Brewery. Didn’t worry about driving because it is within walking distance. A few choices for breakfast tomorrow morning, also within walking distance.

It's a good bargain if you don't neeed to be in downtown Solvang. Plenty of food within walking distance.
