Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place

The low rating is really justified. The hotel location is excellent, with easy access to dining, shopping, and transportation. The interior looked decent after a renovation a couple of years ago, but the bed and bedding are terrible. The mattress has lost all support; it tilts whenever I lean against the headboard. The single bed is already narrow, and I almost fell off just turning over. The duvet filling is all clumpy, like a down jacket after being washed in a washing machine. On the first day, the Black housekeepers surprisingly didn't restock our bath towels, which I've never experienced before. Fortunately, there was a Chinese-speaking guy at the front desk who actively helped coordinate, and at least I could vent my frustrations, whether or not the issues were resolved. The breakfast counter is very high; even as an average-height adult, I found it a bit difficult, and it would be impossible for children to get food themselves.

Had a fantastic stay at the Brussels Marriott Hotel! The location is superb, within walking distance of Grand Place and the Manneken Pis, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the front desk staff were warm, professional, and quick to respond. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Belgian waffles were authentic. Overall, it was clean and quiet. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Brussels. Highly recommended!

Nothing to say about this hotel, except that you need to be careful about getting your 50€ deposit back, which they take upon arrival. Mine was returned a month after my stay.

To be honest, it's quite a step down from Marriott hotels in China, but it's still pretty good compared to the ones in Europe.
