Goldfield Holiday Units

The owners were very accommodating, helpful, nothing was a problem. The unit was very clean & comfortable, had everything I needed, the bed super comfy. Lovely hot shower. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Walking distance to the town of Bright. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous spacious well equiped self contained apartments with the beautiful river at your back door and a short walk to the centre of town. Sam and Marco are super friendly and very accomodating and lovely hosts. We loved our 2 weeks here and will return to take in a different season. Great value apartments with everything you need for a short or long stay like us. Sam and Marco will cater for long stay and do a mid stay clean and replenishment.

We stayed for 4 nights in the newly renovated "boutique" apartment (I think the other units are a bit older) - had a wonderful stay. Really lovely apartment, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and great shower! Amazing location right by the Ovens River with the river trail/ Canyon Walk running past. Easy to walk into the town for dinner and drinks. Sam and Marco were great hosts and really helpful. We hope to return again one day.

Very friendly host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. When we arrived it was a cosy welcome as heat was already turned on. Very neat and tidy accomodation and it is very close ( walking distance ) to restaurants and shops . Beautiful scenery and trails to go for walk.

If you want the perfect spot in Bright by the Ovens River, Goldfields is the place. Beautiful and picturesque all year round. We come to Bright every year and can’t wait to stay at Goldfields. Sam and Marco are the perfect hosts, beautiful friendly couple. The apartment is always so clean, very roomy. Separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen area. A truly beautiful escape with the properties frontage on the Ovens River. Breakfast by the river, a stroll along Canyons walk and a few minutes into town. Can’t wait for our next stay. This is a very difficult one for me to review. The place is lovely and our room had been recently renovated. The issue was that we booked a SPA unit, and as part of the renovations 12 months ago, the SPA was removed. When we arrived we questioned the owners about this, and they said that they were trying to get ******* to update their online booking and were very frustrated that it wasn't getting updated. The issue is that their own private website also listed our unit as still a SPA unit. The owners were kind enough to supply us with a free bottle of Red wine to us to apologise for our inconvenience which was nice. I have waited 4 weeks to post this review, and upon checking today, the unit is still listed on their personal website as a SPA unit. Very disappointing, because the apartment is lovely, but it is false advertising, and the website needs to be updated. If they can update their website, I would gladly give them a 5 star rating.
