I really don’t like giving poor reviews but although there were some good points with this All inclusive 5star hotel there were quite a few negatives. We arrived at 4am due to flight being delayed and first (tired ) impressions were reasonable. Fairly quick check in and shown to our (sea view) room. Bed was comfortable. We got up about 9:30 and noticed our room was what could only be described as grubby. Dirty looking marks all over and yellowing on all white surfaces(walls and wardrobes). We did have a sea view but it was over some other accommodation so a distant view. Overall food was reasonable, decent choice and well cooked. Problem was there was never enough cutlery and I was just amazed that the problem wasn’t solved after a the first day of problems. If I had been the restaurant manager then I would have bought another 500 hundred sets myself rather than have the embarrassment of keep saying sorry to guests night after night. Same thing with the fruit juice machines, always empty with only half the guests thirst quenched. Never known anything like it, even in 2 star hotels. Beach was lovely and was always crowded with the pool areas staying empty. Pool bars and snack bar excellent as was the beach bar. Lobby bar was a lovely place to st and have a drink in the evening but after 9 pm it was only paper cups as although they kept collecting empty glasses no one ever washe them up 😂. Beds were made every morning though the rooms were never cleaned and toilet rolls seemed to be a scarcity and a couple times the dirty towels were taken away without leaving replacements though quickly rectified by a call to reception. Don’t expect your free drinks in your fridge to be replenished either. Most staff were ok though a few were excellent and a few were grumpy. All in all we had a good break but wasn’t the 5 star luxury we were expecting. Maybe 3 star + Disappointing overall is how I’m remembering it. I just remembered that we were WhatsApped by a guy named Bülent on our first morning and asked to go to a meeting with him at midday. We got there and all the new guests were present and he started off giving good info about hotel but it turned into a hard sell of attractions. We paid 30 euros each for a spa and massage experience away from the hotel and were promised it would be excellent but it wasn’t, it was dirty and awful backstreet sauna that no one was comfortable with. We also paid 50euros each for a boat trip that was amazing but if you book from the guys down the beach it was only 25 euros 😞. Don’t be fooled by Bülent, he is not your friend.

Hotel Karia Princess

Since being a retired hotel management executive working and staying in hotels more then in my homes all around the globe ,I must admit one more time how simplicity is more sophisticated with high vibration human fine tuning.Had an amazing weekend in a hidden gems of Bodrum in Karia Princess hotel surrounded by a beautiful garden that is kept very well full of mandarin, lemon trees and best green plants. only 10 minutes walk to the Marina's crowd even during winter a perfect place to rest and rejunavate yourself. Hotel is going to have a beautiful Spa including the oldest well renovated turkish hamam within 1st quarter of the year and even walking thru the constraction site of where the wellness part is in I believe it will be a place to visit all the time.. From the entrance of lobby you can feel the noble yet homely look with the choice of the colours ,furniture in spacious public areas. A pleasantly explained Karia civilization corner where the hotel names come from with antique unique clothing frames been used as wall decoration with the warmness of young hoteliers at reception had a very smooth check in process. The rooms are spacious and the arched covered white balcony as in the old styles with the white furniture really makes you feel like you are a Karia royal looking towards the garden while having your cup of favorite drink.Overall tidiness and cleanliness of the room is above average yet always fine tuning details which was already shared with management immediately taken into consideration. Sera restaurant which is really makes you feel you are one of the fotosentezing green beings while dining there...Presentation of the food is always have room to improvement yet it has been most quality and delicious ingrediants been used that it takes your stomach away for a yummy ride..All comments been shared and the Karia princess team since they are undergoing a renovation refreshment process within the hotel has aligned them with their vision.Hotel has 2 small bar on lobby level and next to the restaurant which was not operating yet but I am sure will be a unique place of happy hours and relaxed drinking hours.I have even visualized a nice wine tasting activities as the decoration suites perfectly. I suggest whoever visits Bodrum to have a mini break in this 55 room beautiful hotel which also has a beautiful mini conferance area (where even you can find similtanous translation facilities) it's a perfect place for groups whom are doing their business plans or giving training opportunities for their employees.Just loved the banquet areas and the organizations that can be planned is already in their schedule.. I just wanted to write this not like a quality assurance report since all info that can be utilized been shared but to thank for all the encounters that I had over the weekend for this memorable stay yet I wanted to write this review for a huge thanks and best luck for the future..I'll definetly revisit when all renovation is done .

Caresse, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Bodrum

Let's start with the positives. Our room on the third floor at the front overlooking the sea was very spacious and well-appointed with a comfortable bed and very nice bed linen. The only thing we didn't find that would have been useful was an iron and ironing board. The views from the balcony were stunning. The bathroom was large with good toiletries and space to put things away. The shower may not have been the most powerful but worked fine and hot water was always available. Breakfast was excellent, served until 11 am, with an extensive buffet selection and cooked to order items. On the less positive side, whilst the mornings were great the beach bar DJ started up at 2 pm with thumping bass'y music increasing in volume as the afternoon went on. This doesn't make for a relaxing time on the beach. Whilst to be expected in the main season we had not anticipated this in the first week in October. It was quieter sitting by the pool but if you like to sit on the beach in peaceful and tranquil surroundings this is not the place for you. The other significant negative was the excessively expensive food and drink. For some bizarre reason the menus are priced in Euros but billed in Turkish Lira which makes checking the bill quite difficult. Very few bottles of wine under 100 Euros and food choices were limited unless you wanted to pay a fortune. This had the effect of pushing guests away from the hotel to eat and drink; those who could easily afford it simply weren't prepared to pay unrealistic prices for what was on offer. A bottle of Pinot Grigio Blush was over 2,000 Lira when you could buy exactly the same in the supermarket five minutes walk up the road for 300 Lira. A 600%mark-up seems somewhat greedy! Unlikely we will stay here again.

I was very satisfied with the hotel.Location is good ( near Myndos Gate) .There is no “Sea View” but all the remarkable places are still in a walking distance! Food in restaurant is delicious and a little bit more expensive than in Bodrum common places!Service is good as well .A huge advantage of the hotel : Free of charge - SPA zone . Everything is included except massage & relax programs ! The only one minus which was observed in case if it was 5- star hotel the rooms were not spacious enough !!! Relation between price & quality of the hotel is reasonable ! I would definitely recommend it !
A'la Grand Residence

Arrived at Al A Grande Residence and weren’t able to check in as apartment still needed to be finished cleaning so we wandered round the complex to check out the pools and then visited local restaurant for a bite to eat. Once inside we were happy with the space and size with two bathrooms and huge bed and balcony overlooking the pool. However we were missing a few kitchen items such as a mug for coffee and a pan for cooking. The staff were able to rectify the pan and hubby bought some mugs from local market so we solved that issue straight up. Each apartment block has its own swimming pool (4 in total) which are long pools great for doing lengths. They are a bit tired looking though and the back pool was half empty with many ****s growing round it - sadly neglected so this put a bit of a damper on our first impression of the Residence overall. Still we have enjoyed the air conditioning in both lounge and bedroom and the proximity to Gumbet main shops and while surrounded by hotels with loud music playing we found the apartment in A block to be very quiet and relaxing.

This is one of my best stays ever, and I’ve been to a lot. Everything was perfect. The apartment, the calmness of the place, the pool and the flowers ❤️ The hostess was the nicest person I’ve met in all of the hotels I’ve been to. She is very welcoming, always smiling and willing to help. She gave us the peace we wanted in our stay. I’ll sure recommend this place to my friends and family and I’m sure I’ll come back again if I come to Bodrum in the future.

Very good experience, the owner is very amiable, the room is clean, there is a good breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee, there is a large shopping mall less than 1 km nearby, there are many cafes and bars nearby. The owner has two lovely daughters. There is also a mini swimming pool in the hotel, but unfortunately there is no swimming time.
