The service was okay but when we checked in they asked to see our travel log history in which we showed them but they opened up a previous customers travel history and they were worried that we had been to Shandong province but in fact they just hadn’t checked the Chinese persons travel history and they were being overly cautious because we were foreigners. We have been in Beijing for months. They also gave our room to someone else but kindly gave us a lovely upgrade to the executive apartments. The breakfast was quite disappointing the pastries were dry with a hot lamp above them and there was no flavour but a lot of variety for Chinese breakfast style food if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t call this a international breakfast. The waitress in the breakfast lobby kindly found us some room temperature water because they only had hot water at the buffet. Because of the location we really enjoyed our stay but we probably will not go again. The amenities were alright but for such a lovely big bath tub there was only one small bottle of body wash which only lasted one tub use and then we couldn’t have a shower or go in the tub again because there was only one bottle between the both of us. I wouldn’t say not to recommend this hotel, it would be very good for people on business trips and big families but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples. Of the five hotels we have stayed in within Beijing, this hotel is ranked last.

I went mid December, and they upgraded my room from a windowless room to a beautiful Chinese themed larger room for free. However, due to the large window, the heating system scouldnt keep ul and the temperature couldn't get higher than 16 degrees. Luckily, I come from Canada so I wasn't that bothered but I can understand how it may be uncomfortable for some travellers. On the second day, the font desk asked how the room was, (I think they were concerned about it being cold) and offered to switch me to a windowless, smaller room, which would be warmer. Unfortunately, there were bed bugs that bit me a few times both nights, on my hands, back, and neck. I wish I were a more confrontational person and let the front desk know... Next time if this issue arises I will tell the hotel. Other than the issues mentioned above, the room was lovely, free of smells and the bathroom had all amenities, and they offer free toothbrush and toothpaste at the service counter if you need them. There's a working mini fridge, and the location is ideal, right in the centre of a cultural immersion tourist street where there are food shops and souvenir stores outside. Also, the staff are very helpful, and aided with making an online reservation for me to go to Tiananmen Square for the flag raising ceremony (everything must be done online, and they helped read out the Chinese words that I don't know).

My stay at the Beijing Tiananmen Qianmen Street Manxin Hotel was truly exceptional. The location couldn't have been better – nestled in the heart of the city, right on Qianmen Street, it provided easy access to various attractions and vibrant cultural spots. The staff's dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay was evident in every interaction. A special thank to the tall gentleman on staff, whose kind assistance in securing a taxi to the airport and ensuring my safe departure was truly remarkable. Their commitment to exceptional service made my stay both memorable and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic accommodations, outstanding customer service, and unbeatable location.

The room was nice. We got room upgrade to the one with windows only 100Rmb on arrival. - body shower, shampoo, conditioner kit is too little for 2 people. - floor map is a little confusing to find elevator at first but you will get used to it on the next day. - shower room has music automatically turn on when using, which is both a plus and many minus - air conditioner & light won't be off when you go out, the room always warm - location is super good & room design was nice and clean, will stay again next time if the price is still competitive
Beijing Qianmen Courtyard Manxinfu Hotel

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
We have a very pleasant stay at Manxin Beijing Qianmen Courtyard Hotel. It’s very well located, super clean and has a lovely decoration. Our room was perfect for two traveling with a carry on. The bed and lining was the best, we slept so well. My favorite part was the breakfast. We stay for 5 nights and every day they have different delicious Chinese options. You can also find western options. Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful. Even if they didn’t talk English they use a translator and we communicate very easily. They even help us with our laundry. As it’s a courtyard, if you go on high season you should expect to hear other guests outside your room so for light sleepers that should be a downside. However, since it’s November there weren’t many guest so it was super quiet. We like it very much!

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
This is the first time I book a hotel on Ctrip, and it is the first time I write a review. I really wrote it because I thought it was really good. The hotel is clean, I don't think there is a difference of five or six hundred. The service is very warm and the attitude is very good. Because I was taking my children out to play, I deliberately went to the subway station to go to Happy Valley. I didn’t need to transfer to Universal Studios. It’s also relatively close to Tiananmen Square. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk. Now the epidemic situation needs to be refreshed many times. code so it will be slower. The hotel is really nice.
True GO Hotel xiyuan (Qianmen Square, Tiananmen Square, Beijing)

Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area
The room is relatively small and there is no elevator, but the location is excellent. If you go to Qianmen to play, it is worth staying. If you are visiting Beijing, you can choose a location that is not so central, which is a good choice. The hotel is 300 meters away from the subway station and has convenient transportation. It is in an alley but relatively easy to find. The space is not large, but the bed is relatively spacious, which can meet one's daily needs. It is more convenient to go to the shower and toilet. It is a good accommodation choice for traveling alone.
