Beijing Yanqing District 4-star Hotels

This is my second time staying at this hotel with my baby. The hotel is nice and the facilities are more business-like. The service is very warm, everyone will say hello cordially, and there are small slippers and children's dental kits specially prepared for the baby. The service has no dead ends and can respond in a timely manner. The environment outside the hotel is very good, the parent-child facilities are in place, and the breakfast was eaten at Crown, which was still very good. First I will tell my story about the mini-bar, then I'll get to the good things. So when I was booking this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised that it indicated ”Minibar (free)” in the list of perks. Then in the room, I read the menu that explicitly said that the mini-bar offers a VARIETY of drinks free of charge (I'll attach all the proof for reference). But then I opened it and discovered a bunch of same bottles of WATER. I thought, hm, that's not what the brochure says. So I went downstairs to ask them about it, but they just kept saying - sorry, we don't have other drinks at this time. I said - I wouldn't mind at least a bottle of coke in it or something. They pointed at the vending machine right next to them suggesting to buy one... (facepalmed) And so I bought a bottle of coke, because I'm not trying to be a complainer or anything, but I felt a slight taste of a scam, considering how explicit they are everywhere about their ”amazing free minibar”. They say that don't have it, but yet they do put it into their lobby vending machines to charge you for them. I hope they can either provide proper selection in their minibar or remove any mention of it having various drinks to stop misleading those who love little perks like this. Other than that it is a high-quality hotel that is well-built, provides great comfort, and in all other matters staff was more caring. The room was gorgeous, with great design, tech, and view. Thumbs up for that.

Hotel operations are understaffed in several departments. In the end, I gave a good review not because I didn’t encounter any problems, nor was it because of the upgraded treatment, but because I can see that the management does not avoid problems, does not make excuses, finds ways to solve problems, and feels the desire to improve. Thanks to Manager Zhang of the front office for his attention and service, upgraded room type, complimentary buffet, and preferential use of Marriott swimming pool. There is a bunny feeding area at the door, and the children like it very much. Accidentally found that some residents took the ”ball” of table football in the public area at the entrance of the banquet hall as their own, so as to achieve the purpose of playing only at home. The naughty children can understand, mainly because the parents and families lack education. Praise the guest room department and suggest material rewards: 4 waiters are responsible for the sanitation of more than 200 guest rooms... The sanitation level is among the best among hotels of the same level in ************** after the epidemic. It would have been perfect if I had removed some of the hair from under the sofa cushions as well. The room department is very responsible for checking the guest information before opening the door, which makes people feel safe. It is recommended that the hotel improve internal contact methods and work processes, and shorten the time for guests to wait for identity verification. There are some problems in the design, selection and quality of some hardware facilities and bedding products. There is room for optimization in terms of waiters and chefs in the catering department. The restaurant looks flustered when the passenger flow is large. If the communication skills can be improved and the queues of customers can be managed, the conflicts between guests and chefs, and between guests and guests can be reduced. Among the chefs, the level of the ramen chef is commendable! For dishes such as baked beans and roast beef, the cooking skills are not as good as the ingredients. The swimming pool facilities and sanitation are good. It is irresponsible and dangerous for some parents to put their hopes on the life of their children who cannot swim and rely on the care of the safety officer! What's more, the security officers used their mobile phones, were absent for a short time, and the temporary substitutes went to work to play with their mobile phones, etc. The children's area next to the pool is suitable for younger children. Next to the hotel is Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient for temporary shopping and eating. There are not enough parking spaces in the basement, and the exit guidance signs are unclear and ambiguous, which may easily cause circles in the parking lot. The switchboard and the front desk are quick to answer internal calls and have a warm attitude, which is worthy of encouragement and maintenance. As guests and members, I would like to have the opportunity to come to the store again, hoping to see obvious progress.

The overall homestay is quite big. We booked a room. It happened to be suitable for a family of three. The service was very good and the attitude was very good. There were also children playing a lot. The children played with other small pots. The scenery is everywhere. The hygiene is very clean. It is very close to Longqing Gorge. It is also close to the ski resort. I will continue to live here after skiing. The hotel also has its own restaurant. We went back after lunch at noon. It was very delicious.

The overall operation during the festival is quite good. The skiing is very good at sliding in and out. The venue is large but the guest rooms, catering and ski resorts are in good order. After all, it is not easy to operate at full capacity. Special praise to the lady at the front desk. The customer service department gave us thoughtful guidance and even checked in for us some time in advance. thank you! It's just that the young man who stored the luggage at the concierge and was in charge of the shuttle bus saw that we were women, old people and children getting on the bus. He didn't care if we asked him to help us carry our luggage. What's the point of shouting at us? From a hotel service perspective, this is rude and lacking. We stayed in hotel 509 for three days. Mom must let me thank the front desk clerk who received us, named Dong Tao. During the Chinese New Year, he was still very enthusiastic and sincere in serving everyone patiently. Excellent employees are very worthy of praise! The hotel package in Yanqing is affordable and rich. The Expo Lantern Festival is really a good place worth visiting, but the entrance is too far, so you have to go to Gate 1 to enter the park! It feels like the upper floors of the hotel all have view rooms, and if the weather is good, you can actually see the snow-capped mountains! The hotel's breakfast is of a very high standard and rich, as shown in the picture! Noodles are loved by both adults and children! recommend!

This May Day temporary decision to come to Yanqing, very lucky to find this homestay, left a room immediately set. The whole homestay is stylish and very literary. Surrounded by mountains and fresh air. It caught up with the rain when I came, and the boss was very enthusiastic. I specially prepared hot pot for us. There is a piano in the lobby, and there is a small slide on the second floor. The whole homestay is very careful. There are many beautiful scenic spots nearby, not far away, thyme gallery, Longqing Gorge, Baiyaju are all worth visiting!

This is a beautiful hotel situated in the mountainous region of Beijing. The surroundings and view from the hotel are breathtaking at sunset and weather was extremely good during our stay. STAFF The staff were amount the most helpful and friendly that I have encountered in China thus far and I have been here more than five years and traveled to many destinations. They do not speak English but are very ready to use a translation APP or WeChat to communicate. The staff are very accommodating and even took special requests regarding the menu. FOOD The food was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Their menu unfortunately does not have pictures and the translations may be tricky if you are not particularly familiar with Chinese cuisine. Nevertheless, the food that we at was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were able to BBQ by ourselves by reserving it a day in advance. The staff will also help you BBQ if needed. LOCATION The hotel is situated far from the city and a sense of comfort can be experienced knowing that you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. However, make sure all amenities and personal effects that you may need are with you as you cannot get same day delivery services. There were some construction vehicles which made noise occasionally in the area but I would suspect this is temporary and will soon pass. ROOM The rooms are beautiful and we experiences no dysfunctional amenities in the bedroom. The linen on the beds were crisp and clean, the room was clean upon arrival and daily cleaning is offered. Overall cleanliness was very good. The washroom area is stocked with a loofa, toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, razor, hand towels, cups and reasonable space for personal toiletries too. POOL AREA The outdoor patio looks out onto the pool. The water was well maintained and some pool toys were provided by the hotel. The pool area could use some maintenance, for example, around the stairs there are a couple loose tiles on the stair face and some ****ing around the footpath could be done. Other than this, the environment is completely mesmerising and leaves one completely relaxed. Calming music is played throughout the day at a low volume. At night, this area is well lit and the scenery beautiful. BAR The bar is well stocked with spirits but a slightly wider variety and maybe the addition of a drinks menu would definitely improve this. ROOFTOP The hotel has a rooftop deck perfect for sundowners and viewing the surrounding mountains. Tables and chairs are provided on the rooftop.
