I had a wonderful experience here. I recommend this place to foreign travelers especially as their recommendations are superb. The staff were very fast checking me into a dorm room that was clean. The facility is directly connected with a coffee shop with a good view of the temple. I would recommend this place just based on the service from the staff alone.

The room was very clean and quiet. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and a true all-rounder!

Facilities: Pretty complete. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Environment: The surrounding area is great. Right outside is the White Pagoda Temple, and you can see the pagoda from the hotel's third-floor terrace. Service: Very attentive.

The hostel has a lot of good things — it’s beautifully decorated and has a really nice café downstairs with a rooftop area. But the prices there are crazy high, so I didn’t use it. Unfortunately, there’s no kitchen or even basic facilities to make your own coffee, so you either eat out or pay the café’s prices. The dorms are comfy, and the curtains on the bunks give great privacy. However, there's only one bathroom for all the dormitories and really needs better cleaning — it’s on the ground floor and shared by everyone, with only one toilet, one squat toilet, and a few showers with worn-out curtains. It could be much better.

Very nice hostel. Room super comfortable. Terrace with a nice view and good craft beers It is located in the heart of two lovely streets offering nice restaurants and activities. It was a bit too far away from dongcheng for our stay, even if it is well located

Great location with easy access to the subway and many historical sights in walkable distance. Would recommend staying here.

A modern place that retains a cozy, traditional aesthetic inside. The rooms aren’t very large, but they’re just the right size to ensure comfort for guests. I thought it was a great touch that each cubicle has adjustable lighting, allowing you to set the perfect brightness. Below the hotel, there’s a trendy restobar serving Western-style food—though a bit pricey. I ordered a small grilled platter, and it was quite good. My suggestion for the kitchen? Adding chimichurri as a condiment would really enhance the flavor of the sausages. As for the location, it’s a lovely area for strolling and getting lost in the quieter hutongs (alleys). Just a few kilometers away is the scenic Shichahai Lake walk—a perfect little excursion from the hotel

I stayed in a 4 person shared room, the room was really nice and the bed was quite comfy. However the bathroom and showers seemed a bit dirty and not really nice. It’s also not the most social hostel.

I was absolutely delighted by the White Pagoda Light Hostel on Fuchengmen Inner Street! As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by its unique Beijing courtyard layout, full of old Beijing charm. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The staff were super enthusiastic; not only did they patiently answer all my questions, but they also thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions and local eateries – my impression couldn't be better! The location is superb, nestled within the Second Ring Road and very close to Financial Street. There are many historical sites nearby; you can walk to Miaoying Temple White Pagoda and Lu Xun Museum. Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Shichahai are also not far away. With easy access to Fuchengmen Station on Metro Line 2 or Xisi Station on Line 4, getting around is incredibly convenient. My favorite spot was the three-story coffee lounge. Sitting there, I could not only enjoy delicious coffee and light meals but also get a full panoramic view of the beautiful White Pagoda. It's truly a popular check-in spot in Xicheng District, perfect for amazing photos.

I stayed at this hostel for a week. The staff was helpful with recommendations for restaurants or helping out with other things. The area around the hostel is really nice and a short walk to bus and subway. The rooftop terrace cafe is great. I felt that there were not enough toilets/showers for the amount of people using it and the sink/bathroom area could use more hangers/space to put toiletries. Note that they charge a small fee for using laundry machine. All in all I would recommend staying there.

the toilet and bathroom is terrible! that's need to share with customers (restaurant) and not hygienic!!! though its location is 5-star but I give bathroom a thumb down, really really bad. Bedroom is normal. The only one good thing is the staff attitude (esp. the front reception) is extremely nice.

Location is a bit far, beijing is really big and even to the metro station you have to walk around 15 minutes

Really nice place with really friendly staff!! I even extended my stay there. The location is great, you have the bus and the underground closeby. You have a famous Lamaist pagoda next door and really cute street with cute cafés, restaurants that us really nice in the evening. The rooms are clean, with sockets right above your own bed and provide slippers for the shower. They provide ear plugs, toiletry items and a washing machine. There is a roof top and common areas to eat your delivery food (they have a system where you can order your food and deliver at the place). I really enjoyed my stay there!

The Staff was very helpful, I have been struggling with the Chinese apps, the guy at the reception made a reservation for me with his own phone. He also gave some good recommendations. It was my first hostel in china. Very satisfied with them.
