Shower was horrible. Wife and daughter refused to Shower and waited till getting to family home. Found hair on pillow and thankful Wife brought linens to cover beds.

Room type I booked was not available due to the floor being renovated, the door wouldn’t lock and felt like the handle was going to fall off, and the water pipes sounded like a wind chime because the room above me took a shower.

The rooms are small and the reviews anout this hotel are misleading. Biggest complaint was mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling. Uncomfortable bed and pillows, which were also tiny for the king bed we slept in. Guy at the front desk was more in tune to talking football with his friends than he was in helping us.

This is my third stay at this hotel. We stay here because it's convenient. However let me finally leave a review that will hopefully spark something in management.
The rooms are not horrible, but they are not clean. You can see the caked on dust all along the floors against the walls. The shower doors need to be replaced because when you shower water gets all over the floor, leading to mold in the corners.
The rooms desperately need an update.
The first night I slept we checked in very late so we went right to sleep, woke up and looked at the blanket and noticed a blood stain on it.(trust me it wasn't from us).Asked the front desk for a new blanket and I received no apology for it.
Standards are not important here.

First my likes very presentable upon arrival great staff
Dislikes, bed was old as my side had for no better explanation a hole in it, used soap in dish 1/2 vial of shampoo and a huge clump of hair on the shower drain that I had to grab and throw in the garbage it wouldn’t go down drain. Last not much of a breakfast I tried the bagel and had to butter it with a spoon no knives to be found.waited 24 hours to write this as I wanted to try to be objective instead of immediately expressing my disappointment

Close to New River Gorge, I’m sure this hotel is very busy! Location was excellent and quiet. Rooms are well maintained, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. It was perfect for stopping to sleep on my long drive and for a great price.

We are definitely staying there next time we come through. This is why: The price was very good, it was clean, and the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. It is not new, and the rooms are small, one sink instead of two, the shower door did not close well, one of the outlets next to the bed was not working, etc. But I would much rather pay $67 and have those little inconveniences--just so I can sleep well.
