Bowers Mill Aparthotel

We stayed in the Botanical room of this apartment/hotel. And it was phenomenal. Absolute luxury. Everything you could wish for with a gorgeous bedroom, extremely spacious living room, huge TV with every channel you could think of, and a well appointed kitchen. It’s located in the middle of beautiful green countryside (like a Beryl Cook painting) but you just want to stay inside and wallow in the luxury. The staff were extremely kind and helpful (only visible when you want them). It may well be the best place I’ve ever stayed. Loved it.

We stayed in the Botanical in Jan 2025. What an experience that was. Heaven in the West Yorkshire countryside. The rooms were amazing, a brilliantly equipped kitchen, lovely bedroom, huge TV with all the channels you could possibly want, it was the ultimate in luxury. The staff were superb, so incredibly kind and helpful. But the location was dreamlike - not that it was easy to be tempted outside: we didn't want to leave our Botanical suite. It was like being in a Beryl Cook illustration: rolling hills and greenery and sheep and fresh air (I think I got the right artist there.) . Our 3 days were just so peaceful and so luxurious, we're even thinking of spending Xmas there. Honestly, it's probably the best place I've ever stayed. Sean

Just returning from a wonderful, relaxing stay at Bowers Mill. From arrival, it was such a welcoming experience where we were made to feel at home. We stayed in the bridal suite which was beautiful and immaculate with a lovely welcome basket filled with treats for our stay. There really is nothing that Bowers Mill have massed, and we especially enjoyed the complementary continental breakfast. Thank you! We will definitely be back. The Wheetman’s :)

This place is fabulous. We arrived just before 3 pm for check in. Dee on reception was lovely and sorted out our room and notified us of the check out time - 10am, plus the complimentary continental breakfast. That was a lovely addition to the stay. We did come prepared just in case, with milk, tea bags and goodies. However there was some already provided. We had the BoHo room. This is at the end of the corridor, lovely forest views and very quiet. The place was immaculate and completed to a very high standard. We had an issue with the TV, but that was resolved quickly and corrected. I also liked the Noble Isla soaps, superb aromas. We stayed here due to the Piece Hall package and the fact it is 14 min by car to the town centre. We used the Woolshops car park for the evening gig. HX1 2XU. This is 3 min from Piece Hall. I would highly recommend this place for a stay. It was fantastic. Thank you Dee and the team at Bowers Mill, for making our stay so good. 👍🏼

We stayed as part of a concert ticket package to see a band at the Piece Hall. On arrival we upgraded to the Gentleman’s Suite which was fantastic. Dee on reception was incredibly helpful. The views from the room were great, very leafy. The place is incredibly peaceful. The room decor was lovely, the bed very comfortable and the bath in the room very luxurious. The only downside was the 10am checkout. Another hour would have made a big difference to a relaxed departure. But despite that we’d definitely stay again!

After the initial feeling of thinking you are going to queue for a ride at Alton Towers, you get the lift to reception. Upon arrival we recieved a very warm welcome at the reception desk by Dee. The reception & corridor smelt lovely, as was room when we entered. The Skandi room was amazing. Clean, tidy, comfortable. Just what we needed. The welcome crate was a great touch along with the water & milk in the fridge to make a cuppa. The 11am check out was a god send and appreciated. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
