Landed up at this hotel quite by accident. Had a last minute cancellation at the original booking so got this one. I arrived here with my mother with zero expectations. And have been very impressed. The rooms are very clean, have all the amenities which any 5 star would have, cable TV, electric kettle, clean comfortable beds and linen, extra towels, sheets, pillows as required and extremely helpful staff. It is very central if you are in and around JP Nagar and in easy reach of the Metro as well. The breakfast included in the package comes packed to your room every morning and is very tasty (even though a limited choice) The tea / coffee could do with some improvement as just too sweet and ready made but they provide tea bags in the room so that’s ok. Overall an excellent place to stay in if three for business trips or if you need a good comfortable room to come back to with great hospitality. The entire staff is very very helpful and goes out of the way to make you welcome. A special appreciation for Ravi at the front desk who singularly was the reason I cancelled my other booking and stayed here. Keep up the great work.

Today, March 22, 2020 (Sunday) was a complete lock down due to Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from 7 AM till 9 PM. Unfortunately, I had my check out date today itself. So, in this crisis situation I had asked the hotel to extend my stay for one more day with a minimal tariff so that I don’t risk the life of myself and my family moving out of the hotel. The hotel ***agement had clearly denied this stating that the check-out time is 12 PM and at max they can allow two more hours which is 2PM. Later they agreed for 3PM check-out and after a heated argument they said I can check out by 4PM. If I am in the hotel beyond 4PM they will charge me the same tariff (may be INR 200-300 less) that I have been staying in the hotel for the last few days. This was not the expected behavior from a hotel in which I have been staying for the last few days. They were taking this as an opportunity to make more money and take advantage of this rare and highly critical situation. Personally, I had taken this as a criminal offence as instead of extending a helping hand they were just thinking of money in this crisis situation. I will make one thing very clear that I had requested SFO hotel to extend my stay for one more day with minimal tariff not because I wanted to stay in that Hotel for pleasure but because I thought I have no other option in this crisis situation. The only option I had at this point was to move myself and my family to another place (even though it is life threatening) which is at a ***ageable walkable distance (~2 KM) from SFO hotel as public transportation was also shut. The other Hotel has understood my situation and have provided a room for 2 nights at a very nominal tariff. The front desk ***ager had behaved very rudely with me and it appeared that the ***agement did not care about being hu*** but that they only wanted was money even in this crisis. They have no fear of losing business as they have partnered with ***y corporates and they think their business with continue to flow because of business travels and even if they mis behave with their guests. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL..!! I REALLY WISH AND PRAY THAT THIS HOTEL LEARNS ITS LESSON SOMEDAY..!!
