I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Hotel Indigo. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was well appointed with nice furnishings and was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had 2 large windows with a city view. Housekeeping came daily and provided excellent service. The public areas/lobby were nice and clean too. The lobby has a large area with abundant seating, a large fireplace and tv. My only suggestion would be to update the tv to a smart tv for access to Netflix and other apps.

Ah, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. All i can say is Wow! This hotel was amazing! The interior is beautiful, the room was fairly large, all the staff was very nice and talked to us multiple times, asked us about our activities we had told them we were going to do when we came back, took a picture for us, and even recommended a great place to order take out at 11:30 at night. You also get a free bottle of wine (it was a pretty decent one too, no sutter home here) when you check in, and can switch it out for another one (they have about 4-5 options of red, white and even a sparkling). The breakfast was much better then other B&Bs i've stayed at, with fresh fruit including blackberries, blueberries, and red raspberries (in January!). They also include the typical bagel, cereal, etc. There is always coffee and tea available for all patrons 24/7. The courtyard in the middle of the building looked like it would be great to eat breakfast in over the summer. Abit too cold in january though. The water taxi is about 250 yards away and that takes you right into inner harbor \ the aquarium, and in the spring and summer takes you down to ft mchenry. A taxi ride from inner harbor back to the hotel (water taxi closes at 6pm in the winter) cost us $7, which isnt bad at all. Oh and parking is FREE at the hotel, almost forgot to add that in. Overall i dont think i would stay anywhere else in baltimore ever again, it is well worth the price!

Stayed at hotel in town for wedding of family friend. I was very impressed with this location. some pros and cons: Pros: lovely clean hotel friendly staff rooms spacious and cleaned daily-both refrigerator and microwave present large very comfortable king sized bed large work mobile station large walk-in shower stall- which included safety grab bar- branded toiletries -provided Dove-- Outside provided lovely seating area for one to enjoy meals or simple relax and of course having a complimentary breakfast provided was nice location was convenient to some nice restaurants Cons: no in room safe no exhaust fan/vent in bathroom rooms indicated as non-smoking however for first two night the heavy smell of ********* was present in hallway--management unable to address

This hotel is below normal Marriott standards. Marriott has hotels in many price ranges from luxury to super economy. This hotel misses the mark. We ordered a king bed (platinum member) long before arrival & we’re told our 2 queen room was all that was available (after we discovered . The clerk seemed unfriendly & annoyed. Sorry, we won’t be trying any other Delta Marriotts

The hotel is new, clean and there's a very nice breakfast. It's a city hotel, so the room was smaller than other Hampton Inns, but comfortable with nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, usb ports) and a big TV. Home2suites shares the building and the floor. The self-parking is expensive ($20/day) and is a walk up a hill to a public lot.. The valet staff was nice and let me unload and check-in before parking. The front desk staff, however, was remote and unfriendy. It wasn't explained how parking worked - other than that the charge would be added to the room. It meant a trudge back to the car in a thunderstorm to get a ticket previously left in the car. It is to be validated at the front desk. I won't be going back. There was no maid service for a 3 day stay. Service is supposedly ”every other day.” I had to ask for extra towels and put trash outside the door when the baskets were full. (I also know nose rings are popular - but people wearing them are hard for me to look at. After seeing too many kids with runny noses, what looks like metal buggers coming out of people's noses, gives me a startling bad physical reaction - Sorry - can't help it.)

The room is very good, new hotel. The service is particularly good and will continue to stay.

It's beautiful, clean and modern, but not one you'll want to stay at if you have an early morning flight. We didn't know the shuttle didn't start until 7 am (odd) or we would've booked another hotel. When you have other travelers complaining about this, you may want to reconsider your hours. PRO'S: I will say the lobby and room were beautiful modern eye candy. It was clean, the bathroom luxurious, the bed like a dreamy pillow and the staff courteous. We only spent about 6 hours there, so not enough time to try the food, breakfast or the gym- which looked upscale with many machines and weights. CON'S: As others have mentioned, the halls can be NOISY. We should've known something was up when we had to sign a disclaimer upon check in that we wouldn't have a party in the room. A first! Having said that, the walls/door seem to be a bit thin. The drunken people heading to their rooms at 2 am sounded like they were in our room as they passed. A total bummer when you have to leave for the airport via Lyft ($30) at 4:15 am . Here's a thought: Maybe one hallway on the top floor could be reserved for airport travelers or those requesting quiet rooms (since you're an airport hotel?). That way you can ensure your patrons a good night's sleep. Fellow WHITE NOISE LOVERS? For those that depend on a hotel's thermostat to have a constantly running fan option, this does not. Again odd, as we rarely run into this with hotels. The fan will turn off when the temp is reached, leaving you susceptible to any hallway noise. It would be great if you had a few portable fans available or even one tucked in each room like you do hairdryers. Also, if you're a hot sleeper in July's heat you cannot adjust the AC to any lower than 64 degrees. Will we stay there again? Perhaps if we don't need an early shuttle and ask for a quiet room. I hope the management will consider these comments, because this hotel could be amazing if it addressed a few areas.

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in, period. The whole hotel smelled of skunk and marihuana. The Ice machine room smelled of urine as if it was used very often. The front desk attendants were watching television in the breakfast area instead of monitoring who was coming into the hotel. There was a man who appeared to be homeless walking through the hotel lobby, then up the elevators and back down to the lobby. He wore the same clothes on Friday night and Saturday morning. The morning attendant on 2/19 was sleeping in the office. I had to bang on the office door several times to wake him up. When I asked for more towels I was given pool towels which were small and worn out. When I asked for more pillows I was told they only had one left but the hotel wasn't sold out. There was mold on the ceiling in hallway, our room, the bathroom. The toilet kept getting stuffed up, we were afraid it would over flow every time. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk he said OK, didn't even fain an interest in fixing the problem. I want my money refunded immediately. We felt unsafe, we were in deplorable conditions that smelled horrible. The entire hotel, I mean entire hotel needs a tear down and rebuild it is that bad. The beds were like twin beds not fit for two adults to sleep in.

Very clean! Which was one of our main wants but it is also up to date & has nice furniture, mattress, tv & ect. Instead of little sample shampoo, conditioner, & body wash they have nice pumps of dove installed in the showers. The house keepers our very kind and will be a helping hand with anything they can. The front desk employees are just the best! They will help you, try to meet needs if anyway is possible & always a pleasure to pass by. Our kids loved the indoor pool, & comfy bed with a big flat screen. I will only use the hotel in Baltimore!
