Hampton Inn by Hilton Towson

The hotel is new, clean and there's a very nice breakfast. It's a city hotel, so the room was smaller than other Hampton Inns, but comfortable with nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, usb ports) and a big TV. Home2suites shares the building and the floor. The self-parking is expensive ($20/day) and is a walk up a hill to a public lot.. The valet staff was nice and let me unload and check-in before parking. The front desk staff, however, was remote and unfriendy. It wasn't explained how parking worked - other than that the charge would be added to the room. It meant a trudge back to the car in a thunderstorm to get a ticket previously left in the car. It is to be validated at the front desk. I won't be going back. There was no maid service for a 3 day stay. Service is supposedly "every other day." I had to ask for extra towels and put trash outside the door when the baskets were full. (I also know nose rings are popular - but people wearing them are hard for me to look at. After seeing too many kids with runny noses, what looks like metal buggers coming out of people's noses, gives me a startling bad physical reaction - Sorry - can't help it.)

The dublicate key I just made wasn't working so I wasn't able to get into my apartment, which was a bit stressful. I have no family in Maryland, so I needed to figure out a solution. Hotel was the answer. I googled the nearest hotel and choose the Hampton. I was unfamiliar with the area and the parking which added more stress..... however, the front desk was so helpful. He patiently explained where I can park and how it worked etc. which was so helpful. The parking lot was very close and his instructions were perfect. He gave me the key to my room. I exited the elevator and immediately was welcomed by a pleasant smell in the hall way. The halls were bright and immaculately cleaned. How wonderful I said to myself. Hopefully the room will be the same. I am happy to say that the room was just as wonderful. The bedroom was so nice. It was nice to see my name on the TV. The bathroom was immaculate. I said who owns this hotels. I googled. It says Hilton. I said of course. I have family and friends coming in all the time, I would highly recommend this hotel and to be honest, I will look for a hotel owned by Hilton moving forward. Thank you for making a stressful situation less stressful. Thank you. P.S. I couldn't stay for breakfast and they gave my a bag breakfast to go....truly amazing.

Easy check-in, good breakfast, nice gym. Only downside was the pool was closed for a couple of days but the front desk staff didn’t know.

The property was convenient to our event(s) for the weekend. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable.

Probably one of our favorite hotels our family has ever stayed at! Staff was so friendly, hours for checkin/out were great, pool and breakfast hours were also ideal. The only downside was parking and walking but overall not horrible. We will absolutely be back on our next visit to Baltimore!

Miss Renne at the front desk was excellent , she had our needs taken care of absolutely fabulous, we would definitely comeback and stay here again, thank you for your hospitality Ms Renne and other staff! Great Job!

The room was very nice & offered room to put your personal items out without running out of space. We did have trouble with the TV & maintenance promptly came & fixed the problem!

The hotel is in a convenient location to walk for food and entertainment. Very clean and professional staff. Breakfast is amazing with a lot of variety.
