Ah, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Hotel Indigo. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was well appointed with nice furnishings and was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had 2 large windows with a city view. Housekeeping came daily and provided excellent service. The public areas/lobby were nice and clean too. The lobby has a large area with abundant seating, a large fireplace and tv. My only suggestion would be to update the tv to a smart tv for access to Netflix and other apps.

This is my second time staying at the Springhill Suites in the last 4 months. It has quickly become my go-to hotel when I am in time visiting family. The rooms are clean, fresh, and the entire staff is courteous, friendly, and attentive. Kudos to Alison the GM for running such a smooth operation !

This is my first time coming to this hotel I felt very welcomed staff were super nice and professional, clean. It made me feel comfortable the room was amazing bathroom amazing I did not want to leave what I loved was that my name was on the TV I definitely will be returning again soon.

It is especially convenient in the hospital area. One room has a double bed and a double sofa bed. It can be opened for four people. It is also convenient to have a kitchen. The hotel's infrastructure is complete. There are ice machines and water dispensers. There is a free coffee bar.

You can talk about real experiences in hotel services, location, facilities, sanitation and more. Inexpensive! It is no different from a superior room, far beyond imagination, surprising, service is in place, very comfortable, is the ideal choice, will come here in the future, all real and effective reviews will be displayed. The hotel location is very good, right by inner habor, easy access to the harbour, there is a supermarket next to it, and shopping is very close

Very clean! Which was one of our main wants but it is also up to date & has nice furniture, mattress, tv & ect. Instead of little sample shampoo, conditioner, & body wash they have nice pumps of dove installed in the showers. The house keepers our very kind and will be a helping hand with anything they can. The front desk employees are just the best! They will help you, try to meet needs if anyway is possible & always a pleasure to pass by. Our kids loved the indoor pool, & comfy bed with a big flat screen. I will only use the hotel in Baltimore!

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in, period. The whole hotel smelled of skunk and marihuana. The Ice machine room smelled of urine as if it was used very often. The front desk attendants were watching television in the breakfast area instead of monitoring who was coming into the hotel. There was a man who appeared to be homeless walking through the hotel lobby, then up the elevators and back down to the lobby. He wore the same clothes on Friday night and Saturday morning. The morning attendant on 2/19 was sleeping in the office. I had to bang on the office door several times to wake him up. When I asked for more towels I was given pool towels which were small and worn out. When I asked for more pillows I was told they only had one left but the hotel wasn't sold out. There was mold on the ceiling in hallway, our room, the bathroom. The toilet kept getting stuffed up, we were afraid it would over flow every time. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk he said OK, didn't even fain an interest in fixing the problem. I want my money refunded immediately. We felt unsafe, we were in deplorable conditions that smelled horrible. The entire hotel, I mean entire hotel needs a tear down and rebuild it is that bad. The beds were like twin beds not fit for two adults to sleep in.

I have stayed at this hotel on and off for the past few months . every time I come here . The front desk manager Norma always goes above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Thursdays and Sunday every time I see her she's working very hard to make sure everyone as satisfied as possible with their room and everything that involves their stay here. George who also has a great attitude and will go to whatever length escape to fix whatever issue or problem may come up these two workers I look forward to seeing every time I come to stay I hope that their hard work can be rewarded thank you very much sincerely Jessica fi

You know that experience when you notice something wrong with a hotel room and you think, ”Oh, that's no big deal, I can live with it,” so you unpack and get settled? But then you notice another flaw, and another, and another. That's what happened to our family at this hotel. I noticed the chip in the enamel on the bathtub right away, then later the hole in the wall by the towel rack that was never repaired, then the missing bar on the security door lock, and finally the lack of a stopper for the bathtub drain (this time I went down to the front desk to get one, none available, was told to use a washcloth). Are all the rooms like this? Not willing to take a chance, will go to a different hotel the next time we need to stay near BWI.
