Brilliant few days staying here at this stunning place. The staff were so helpful with tying to sort visas out and always asked if we needed to do anything in the day. It’s lovely and quiet to escape the rush of Bali in certain places. It’s out of the way however a short car / moped trip and you’ll be able to go to restaurants, small local shops and hotels. You can use grab to get food delivery’s not a problem. Also very friendly dog called ‘panda’ which we loved. We’ll be back!❤️

This place was a real gem, hidden way, quiet, peaceful with a beautiful view. There are pathways to explore, resting spots along the way and a river. It was a little hard to find and a bit far from other places but it's worth it if you want to hade away. Pool was amazing, rooms are spacious, yoga room included. Staff were helpful and always available. Great place.

Gya~~~ Here's a one-star review, and that's it. I went out, but there was excrement here and there that I don't know if it was rat poop, so I picked it up, and I covered it with a towel because it smelled like it hadn't been a year since I didn't wash the pillow that the man with the smelly hair used. Some stories and so on are huge. The only plus is that it is located in a pretty jungle. Don't be fooled by the reviews

Short stay 2-3 days but sufficient. The setting is truly exotic, relaxing, in full jingle. However, hygiene is not there. Indeed the sheets were dirty and stained as well as the bath towels (red and black stain). The mosquito net had holes and was also dirty. Stained floor and walls, very dusty (cobweb on the walls) The pompom which testifies to the lack of hygiene: mites and bedbugs. I spent 3 days scratching like a dog with fleas. Pimples all over my body (and I don't have basic sensitive skin) The swimming pool also lacks maintenance, the water was cloudy. For the price I didn't expect it to be perfect, but the hygiene is still the minimum. A relaxing setting but the person who manages the reception (and the rest for that matter) is very intrusive, even uncomfortable. Good breakfast, served at the table. The manager of the guest rooms is very pleasant.

+ calm, superb view. Outside the city, you can rent scooters directly with them. A superb massage: the masseuse arrived quickly. - the staff always wants to sell us activities.

The natural site, the view and the maintenance of the garden are very good. For the rest... dilapidated room, dirty sheets, holes, stains, no toiletries. Very dilapidated bathroom… Located 35' from Ubud without shuttle via terrible roads you are dependent on taxi services… the Breakfast kitchen had to be cleaned for the last time before the Covid, everything is dirty (table, chairs, trays…etc).

Although the concept of getting back to nature is great, we do not recommend this accommodation. The cleanliness is not at all up to par.. sheets with holes, blood stains and brown stains in the bed, mosquito net with holes, stains on the walls, pillows with a smell of dirty hair, yellow towels that do not don't smell good.. The setting is superb but the hotel seems neglected since COVID. The place is set back from Ubud, if you don't rent a scooter there isn't much to do. In the end, we felt ripped off (pretends to help us and offers us an insolent taxi price while laughing in our face with his "taxi friend"). Although these are small things, it does not put us in a climate of confidence... too bad...

La maison du bonheur is a small complex immersed in the jungle, near Ubud. It is the ideal place for the practice of yoga, spiritual retreats, and rest. The welcome is excellent, a good table, pretty rooms. This place doesn't deserve another name.
