Friendly staffs give me a room in comfortable and cozy air. Aithough I arrived after midnight, I could check in convenience. I love Ubud and this stay.

We really enjoyed our time at Batu Empug Cottages, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We loved how close it was to lots of great restaurants and main streets. The pool was great as was the breakfast.

We had a very pleasant stay here! The room was clean and quiet. The pool and gardens area was beautiful. The staff were so kind and accomodating and let us have our room early. The bathroon exhaust wasn't the strongest however, and we did see one cockroach in the bathroom. So that area could have been a bit cleaner!

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with good air conditioning. Clean bed linen and towels. The location was perfect for us, you could walk to the centre of Ubud. The fresh juice was nice at breakfast, the food was ok. We loved going to Kafe for dinner which was a short walk away. You can also organise day trips through the hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

Ideal central location across the street from amazing spas, restaurants and shopping. Hotel room and bath are spacious and clean and breakfast was excellent. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We even hired a driver (Kadek) to take us to the Aloha Ubud Swing, rice terraces, waterfalls, healer, temples and coffee plantation. Would definitely Batu Empug Cottages and ask for Kadek to take you to see the sights… he is amazing, kind, and so knowledgeable!!!

This is close to everything you need, but just far away to be quiet. Lovely pool and staff very helpful and nice, can highly recommend.

We visited as a family of 5 in May 2023. The hotel was great, clean rooms, comfortable beds, lovely relaxing pool area, staff were so helpful and friendly, good location, great spas very close, walking distance to main ubud centre, good food options around

Batu Empug Cottages is a small hotel but neat and clean with fabulous and helpful staff. It is conveniently located in quiet laneway not far from the markets and dining places. Yoga studios are a 5 minute walk away.
The pool is clean with towels provided. A small cafe on site makes wonderful local dishes and serves drinks and snacks pool side.
I will most definitely stay here again.
