The hotel is cute and in a comfortable area but I would not go back even being a present. The room was not properly cleaned and it was full of bugs, cockroaches, worms and flying ants. Doors did not close good and your fingers could fit through a closed door without a problem in the sides. Of course the full jungle was there with us. We did not want to change the hotel to not be carrying suitcases around Ubud but finally we had to. We could not rest at all. We love nature, but sleeping with bugs in your bed, not at all. And the staff from the night were very helpful, caring and sorry cause of the situation so thank you guys. The workers from the morning were not professionals at all, a lot to learn. It was a terrible experience.

We had a great stay at The Pesaren! The staff are very warm and welcoming, offering a welcome drink on arrival and taking luggage to the room for you. The free breakfast included is a lovely touch. It was my partners birthday when we were there and the staff arranged for pancakes with candles to be delivered to the room on our arrival and added flowers to the bath etc, which was a very nice touch. The rooms are spacious and clean. The accommodation has a very relaxed feel to it and is in a quiet location set back from the bustle of Ubud town, but within walking distance to all restaurants, bars, cafes, shops etc. The pool area is slightly disappointing with only 2 loungers for all guests and we didn’t feel it was the cleanest despite staff efforts, it had a slightly green tinge! Apart from that, a wonderful stay. Thanks again!

it was a really good stay. the pesaren team is really helpful and kind! the place is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are very clean! also ask for the taxi driver Made, he is really helpful and can help you with private drives for a good price! he is also in time, very kind and helpful and you can contact him everytime.

Very beautiful villa immersed in the forest and a few hundred meters from the center of Ubud. Consisting of 8 rooms which overlook a beautiful little swimming pool and a very dense forest, which gives an amazing setting. The rooms are simple with a sliding glass door to stay immersed in the decor. breakfast is served on the terrace which also serves as reception. Nice and helpful staff, simple breakfast and limited choice. Scooter rental available at reception. Very good value for money
