Three Brothers Bungalows & Villas

Legian Bali|0.11km from Gellish Nail & Hand Spa Bali
We used to come to Three Brothers years ago when our kids were young and thought we would give it another try.I doubt we will stay again. We had the suite which is beautiful with a gorgeous ourdoor bathroom.Unfortunately we were put in the room right next door to the restaurant and up against the wall on the main road.NOISY until 10pm and then it starts again at 6am when the restaurant turns on all the exhaust fans.Dont have room 57.We could have asked to be moved but just couldnt be bothered. The bed was super comfortable and the room was cleaned every day and new water provided but only tiny bottles.WIFI was good and there were basic toiletries in the Bathroom.Water pressure was OK and the water super hot.Grounds are kept beautifully and it has that lush traditional Bali feel. The pool.....well that hasnt changed at all and the chances of getting a sun lounge are O.Everyone has their towels out there at breakfast and they dont leave. The pool was cold and a bit difficult o get in and out with very few stairs or steps. The breakfast was disgusting and this really puts my rating down. The restaurant is a separate entity now and just provided hotel guests with a breakfast which is stone cold.Fried noodles, ham or bacon depending on the day and chicken sausages and fruit or you can have eggs cooked for you but I was so over eggs by this stage I couldnt face another one.We saw people ordering A La Carte from here and the food looked great but you have to pay for it.I think they make the breakfast so bad that you want to pay and order from the menu. There were breads and a cereal, tea and coffee but thats about it.Enough, but being COLD.NOT GOOD.It doesnt take much to keep the food warm in the Warmers. Its in a good location close to main section of Legian and lots of good restaurants close by.We ate here on our last night and had the ribs and Chicken and Cashews and it wasnt bad.Wont be staying here agin for a while.New Villas been built and its cheaper to have the double Villa than a single. No idea why. They looked nice but you miss out on the beautiful gardens here.Transport out the front for tours

Abia Villas

This was our 4th visit to Abia Villas. We would like to thank Lena and her team for making this yet another fantastic and relaxing stay. The villas are really comfortable, with air condition and a semi-outdoor bathroom. The only thing that needs replacing is the shower head, but we understand from the resort that this will happen soon. There is a dining area and a private pool with sun loungers. Breakfast is included and can be delivered to your villa at your chosen time, or you can choose to eat it in the Abia Cafe. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a really peaceful place, just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Legian. We are looking forward to our next visit in 2024.

The Villa is along the river. The river is not clean lol but the Villa is close to a bar and a few laundry serviced and close to a circle K for any small supplies needed. The staff are all friendly, and will help you when needed. Enough space out the front for three cars and some motorbikes. The villas are nice and spacious. Fans in bathroom and outdoor area. Aircon and fan in bedroom. Pool is good size and clean. Lights around it for night swims. Place kept nice and tidy with daily housekeeping just ask them to leave aircon on or when you return the room will be hot.

Having been to Bali in excess of 50 times, I've always stayed in and arround the Legion, Padma road area. I've walked passed and watched staff and visitors enjoying the meals, drinks and facilities at the Legion Village Hotel .... and now I know what I've been missing. The staff were excellent. Better than anywhere else I've stayed. Their service was incredible. Nothing was a hassle. The beers were very very cold and the meals were the best. My room was on the ground floor and was serviced every day. The pool was clean as, the grounds were constantly maintained .... I just had the best time in my 2 week stay. I could not have asked for any better experience after a 3 years covid exile. I'll be going back to Bali early next year and if I can get in, will staying at the Legion Village Hotel again. My thanks to Rian, Dedy, Elo and all the other staff who's names I cant remember, for making my stay so memorable.

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
