First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

We asked for a quiet room, and received a reply saying that our request would be taken into consideration. I am still getting copies of that message every few days a week later, it is clearly auto generated and not true. The air con was not working. They knew this as we checked in but did not tell us. After wasting time trying to fix it we spoke about it and asked to change rooms. We were facing a. Night of either it being hot and stuffy, or following their brilliant advice and leaving the windows open to the noise and police sirens of the street. It was not a good nights sleep, and tha is all I demand of a hotel. We will not be going back. Ok, but it could be better

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

Location is really amazing Staff was nice to us However the room really is very small and the window is next to air-condition/ventilation machine that kept making a banging sound all making it hard to sleep. Receptionist told us can't do anything as they are full now and can't offer a different room (I have read many reviews where people had the same experience, so if it was true or not that the hotel was full we'll never know) Not so sure about cleanliness either as I saw mud on the floor and bathroom didn't look very clean.

I would have rated it higher as most of the staff are lovely, breakfast is good, rooms are small but comfortable and it’s location is excellent. However, one member of staff was quite surly and never greeted people coming in and out, and said that we would have to buy milk and teabags as they only supplied for one day. That is beyond petty. Asking for a €50 deposit is unusual in a hotel and the same member of staff gave no explanation. Everyone can have a bad day but not if you are public facing.

True to its brand, this 25Hours hotel has style in spades. The room was stylish and comfortable and the hotel service was quick, attentive, and helpful. The location of this hotel is basically perfect. You're a short subway or bus ride away from most of Paris's many attractions and located directly across the street from one of the city's largest train stations, meaning you have access to trains going all over France, including to the Paris's airports, meaning loads of taxis are also nearby. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel and my stay. My only complaint is that the rooms lighting seemed to be harsh and needlessly complicated in the hope of looking cool. In the end, I unscrewed several of the bulbs.

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

Had a really good stay there! I went with one friend and we met amazing people! The bar is cheap and nice!! A perfect way to meet new friends from around and from the hostle. I recommend. Our windows was broken and they fixed it! It’s not Wow but it’s still cute! The bathroom is really basic.

The hostel was perfect for our visit to the capital. After a somewhat slightly off-putting start (the person at the bar asked us to wait / ignored us so that he could finish his inventory, then told us to go to the cash dispenser and pay the three nights upfront as his card reader was broken), the rest of the stay was good, and the other members of staff were very friendly and professional. We had booked a private double room. It is located on the fifth floor (no lift). The room comprises of a double bed, a low table with two stools, and a shower room. There are coat hooks by the entrance (we had brought coat hangers) and two bins. The windows are double glazed, although the one in the bathroom does not close properly. There are thick curtains in the bedroom which keep the light out when needed. As it's a busy street, the noise from the street below is noticeable, and because the hostel is close to the fire station, there are often some sirens. We can also hear when the other guests open their doors, which are very creaky. So to be fair, our sleep has been disturbed a few times, but it comes with being in Paris - the same happened to me in the past when I stayed at some friends' places. The room came with two towels (one medium, one large) and two small bottles of shower gel. There was also a large toilet roll. The two bins have been emptied daily. There are enough power plugs to charge our devices, and free wi-fi. The floor felt somewhat sticky (we had brought flip flops), but the bed and bathroom were clean (the shower room is rather dated but the bed is comfortable). People had complained about the bleach smell in previous reviews so.i.had brought a scented candle just in case, but it wasn't needed. The bedroom door opens with a card, which needs to be reactivated each time you come in, as the metro can interfere with it. The staff happily does it in a few seconds, as they welcome you in each time. The hostel also has a kitchen if you want to cook, but we haven't tried it. The bar on the ground floor seems to have a good selection of drinks. The area is really nice, with the Metro station one minute walk away, lovely cafes and bars nearby, picturesque canal Saint Martin, and we also found a small street market on Sunday morning not too far away. It is easy to walk to and from the centre of town from the hostel. We felt safe in the streets, there are schools and families living in the neighborhood. All in all, it was the cheapest accomodation we found in Paris at the time, and we felt perfectly safe and at home, in a great location. We would happily go back!
