Hotel de l'Aqueduc

The room is super small but understandable since it’s in Paris after all. Walkable to Gare L’Est side entrance, but there are no escalators going down, so if you have luggage, you may have to bring them down manually depending on your strengths haha. There’s only small bar soap and 2 small shampoo & conditioner given, but there are coffee and tea sachets in the rooms. No mineral water is given. The drawback was the hotel’s soundproofing, which was nonexistent. You can hear the sound of the train, people’s conversations, etc., from level one. We woke up to the first train coming at 5:32 a.m.

Breakfast was excellent, Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheeses, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, all very good quality apple juice, orange juice, tea, coffee et cetera The room was fine ,nice big bed & comfortable…I didn’t really like the pillows, but my partner did. I found the room very warm. I’m not sure the air-conditioning was working and it only went down to 17°. The bathroom was very small, but had everything you needed and was Clean My partner is 6 foot four and found the shower quite a squeeze( He’s tall, not fat) Reception were very helpful. The Restaurant staff were lovely. The Cleaner is very pleasant. There was a hairdryer ,tea and coffee making facilities You can help yourself from the downstairs bar for extra tea, coffee, milk, et cetera or ask at reception We had clean towels every day as there was nowhere to dry the  towels… The towels were very small. You might want to take a microfibre one with you if you’re used to a larger towel. It is noisy as it is on a junction where the train station is, but the trains do stop at midnight.. They do provide earplugs👍 One night, some people were talking outside at 3 am we were on the third floor.. The other guests were slamming doors at God knows what time and you could hear people using the bathroom..

This place is only 30 mins from Louvre (by metro) and it takes only 10-15 mins walk from metro to the hotel. The room is clean, quiet (we are on the 5th floor which they have a lift), and the reception is very kind. Additional 35€ to pay at the hotel (tourist fee or something, I can’t remember). Breakfast is not included, they provided towel, slipper, kettle, toilet paper, shower gel, bar soap, and they do cleaning your room every morning. Good experience xxx

Excellent location to train stations, perfect for my overnight stay in Paris, easy walk to Eurostar connection at Garde du Norde. Small room but big enough for solo traveller with coffee facilities, clean and tidy, small shower but water pressure great and lift for easy access with luggage.

The hotel is very close to Gare du Nord. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. Paris during the Christmas times is amazing.
