We booked a 2 night arrangement. When we got to the hotel we asked for an upgrade to the studio Goldblau as they are a good size. We were told they had none available. The guys at the reception desk then told us, there were rooms but due to lack of staff, the rooms were not cleaned. We ended up in a terrible dated room, with mould on bathroom wall, shower curtain was like a net curtain with rings missing , the carpet was filthy. On top of all that the people in the room next door were very noisy. I went downstairs to complain and we were given another room, even worse than the first one. We checked out next day as there was no way we wanted to stay another night. Overall: very dated and dirty hotel, carpets throughout filty, food is care home standard, waiter in restaurant was wearing Adidas jogging trousers. Night porter useless. Sauna area also dated. The only plus was breakfast and leaving this horrible hotel.

This hotel was probably very nice 30 or 40 years ago but quite tired. Staff is minimal and I waited for over 30 minutes to checkin. Then went down to use the spa at 1800 and no people were around. No towels. Another guest said after 1800 it was necessary to go to the front desk for towels. No staff around for another 30 minutes. Several of the spa facilities were shutdown or not functioning. The whole reason I went to this hotel was that it was rated as 4 star!! It was far from a 3 star! Half of the lights in the pool area didn't work, the water spout in the pool didn't work, nobody was around to assist in the entire spa area and several of the sauna / mud baths etc were not in service. One very nice outdoor sauna did work!! Breakfast was quite good but the restaurant was questionable with bar food. They could definitely use some proper maintance!! I won't be spending over 200 Euros a night again for a mediocro old run down facility.

Over cooked, over priced, over rated and the owner needs to get over himself. Steak at £30 should be cooked to order and French mustard should be available. Pudding was microwaved and soggy. The services was well below par and when we raised a small complaint the response was unprofessional and inadequate, a simple apology would have done, instead we received personal insults and a defensive attitude on how he knew it all and we had no idea.

Keinen Cent ist das Hotel wert . Der Wellnessbereich ist eine Kathastrophe im Aussenbereich laufen Bauarbeiter einfach mal so durch und es ist alles in die Jahre gekommen . Die Zimmer sind zwar sauber aber auch renovierungsbedürftig . Wir kommen nicht mehr hier her .

Das Hotel bietet verschiedene Pauschalen an. Wir waren bereits mehrmals dort und haben die Aufenthalte sehr genossen. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass bei der HP die Getränkepreise (Wein, Bier, Softdrinks ....) bereits inbegriffen waren. Service und Qualität des Frühstücks und des Abendessens waren hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind renoviert, wir bevorzugten meist ein Studio. Warmes Hallenbad (ab 7.00 Uhr!), viele Saunamöglichkeiten (ab 11.00 Uhr) wussten wir zu nutzen. Schön war auch, dass man mit der Konuskarte (in den Angeboten inbegriffen) im ganzen Schwarzwald den ÖPNV nutzen kann. Das eigene Auto konnte so meistens stehen gelassen werden. Donnerstags wurde im Hotel immer ein Programm (Musik, Lesung) geboten.

Man merkt, dass das Personal gegen den Bau kämpft. Essen top, vieles im und am Gebäude ist recht in die Jahre gekommen. Spannteppich im Zimmer sind halt schon nicht mehr das, was man sich wünscht. Im Wellnessbereich ist die Blockhaussauna top. Der sogenannte Fitnessraum verdient den Namen nicht. Ein Tischtennistisch und ein paar Matten, keine Geräte, nix.
