Fantastic hotel, Big rooms, Clean, fantastic service. Great people serving the great breakfast. Easy and free parking. Quiet. Near Rhinen, Wine Fields and hiking.
Nearby little ferry, where you can take your car and get across Rhinen river in 5 minutes.

We enjoyed the stay with 6 other friends, new hotel probably not more than 3 years old, great location for hiking trips through the „Rheingau“ area, try the „whisper trail“ or a boat trip on the river Rhine. Many good wineries are just a short hike away. Overall 5 stars.

Un hotel con muy buenas instalaciones, un desayuno perfecto, el personal de desayunos muy amables. Pero la nota que he marcado es debida exclusivamente a la atención de la señora que nos realizó la entrada al hotel el día 5 de octubre a las 18 horas, tengo que indicar que desconocemos el idioma Alemán y hablamos Inglés, pero con un nivel bajo. Solo le solicitamos si pudiera ayudarnos a reservar una mesa en un restaurante a lo que se negó diciéndonos que hiciéramos la reserva directamente, le explicamos nuestro desconocimiento del idioma y volvió a repetirnos que hiciéramos nosotros la reserva directamente. Todo ello con una falsa sonrisa, que mostraba distancia y falta de amabilidad. En ningún hotel he visto tan poca voluntad de ayudar a mi persona, con una ya ********* falsa sonrisa.

Bedingt durch einen Event in Lorch haben wir ein Hotel benötigt. Das "Hotel im Schulhaus" machte uns neugierig, und wir buchten für eine Nacht. Nach der freundlichen Begrüßung erhielten wir ein sehr schönes, helles und sauberes Zimmer. Ruhig und gut geschlafen, erwartete uns am nächsten Morgen ein feines Frühstücksbuffet, es fehlte an nichts, netter freundlicher Service, der auch gerne auf die individuellen Wünsche der Gäste einging. Absolut zu empfehlen, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Fahrradtouren, rund ums Mittelrheintal.

Das Hotel führt freiwillig den bundesweit abgeschafften Maskenzwang in geschlossenen Räumen fort und zwingt auch seine Gäste dazu. Eine Info im Zimmer besagt zudem, "aufgrund der aktuellen Situation führen wir keine tägliche Zimmer-Reinigung durch." Personal ansonsten freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Herzlicher Empfang nach einer 28 km Wanderung bei 37 grad im Schatten, mit einem gekühlten Waschlappen, umwerfend… Sehr gepflegtes herzliches Hotel, klimatisiert, Getränkekühlschrank, und ein tolles Frühstücksbüffet. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt dabei modern und aufgeschlossen.

Per quanto riguarda la camera, niente da dire, spaziosa, funzionale, letti comodi e bagno ampio. Tutto resto mi ha lasciato perplesso. La reception è aperta solo fino alle 8 di sera. La pulizia della camera è sempre stata approssimativa. La colazione appena accettabile, dove mancava quasi totale la parte dolce. I prodotti usati erano di supermercato. La colazione ad orari predefiniti, per la prevenzione del Covid, finiva per creare inevitabilmente assembramenti e code. Il personale in sala colazione, pur cortese, parlava quasi esclusivamente tedesco. La classificazione dell'hotel, Tre stelle superior, mi è sembrata abbondante. Come ultima cosa, la posizione, si trova in un paesino vicino al Reno, ma con pochissime attrattive. La scelta dei ristoranti è molto limitata e di qualità piuttosto bassa. Per trovare ristoranti validi bisogna spostarsi e non di poco.

...konnten wir wieder in unserem Lieblingshotel wieder einige wundervolle Tage (und Nächte) verbringen. Die derzeitigen Umstände ( Coronavirus) werden vom Schulhaus-Team wirklich gut gehandhabt. Immer mit einem Lächeln ! Wir kommen wieder….😃
