Hostal la Estacion

The hotel was closed at 19.00 p.m., and the hotel was closed at 20.15. I booked on Hopper and as a limit time for check in were indicated at 22, I checked on booking and said the same thing. The first number on the card does not answer anyone, the second one answers a lady who tells me that on Sunday they close at seven, that there is no one and cannot make me open by anyone. I try to tell you several times that this was not marked anywhere when I booked and no one sent me any notices about it (the booking had it, the money had it taken and kept it, Of course, while knowing that at least one person missed booked, they were disturbed and left without even worth sending a whatsapp or email). I would like to reiterate that I need someone to come to open me or I will have to sleep on the street, she answers that she can't do anything to me and she closes my phone in my face. I tried to write the next day to make me at least make money, but they never answered me; fortunately, at last I found another accommodation in a hurry and angry. I don't imagine what would happen if there were perhaps an old person in my place, with little children or who did not know the language.

The location of the hotel is good, and the rooms with balcony have excellent views. You can get a parking ticket when you check in and go to a large parking lot. However, the road at the entrance of the hotel is relatively narrow, and parking may be difficult during peak hours.
Hotel Sercotel Cuatro Postes

Well situated for Ávila with an excellent view of the city walls from the rooms at the front. Poor WiFi, very inefficient air conditioning (on the 5th floor) and parking limited to a ‘wasteland’ at the rear when busy The attached cafeteria isn’t very good but breakfast was superb...one of the best buffet breakfasts we’ve had, provided in a very pleasant and spacious room with very attentive staff. Decent value at €97 but hardly justifies its 4 star reputation.
Parador de Avila

This is very comfortable and convenient hotel right within the city walls of beautiful Avila, within easy walking distance of all the attractions. Access to the hotel by car is not very easy, but manageable, and there is some on site parking, although it’s a bit tight. Once parked and checked in you can relax in the pretty garden next to the bar. We were on a half board package and therefore had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The food and service were excellent. I had an enormous salad for my starter and my husband chose the charcuterie plate, which was also very generous. There is no pool at the hotel, but Avila has so much to see that this did not matter. The hotel is set in ancient mansion and the decor, including a full suit of armour in the lobby, reflects this.

One of the little staff breakfasts in the service
Hostal Dona Juana
4.5/515 Reviews
I had a great one night stay at Hostal Dona Juana which is located in the centre of Avila by the Plaza de Santa Teresa and the Puerta del Alcazar. The staff in the Hostal were very friendly and helpful and also looked after my bag on the last day as I walked around the town. The room was comfortable and clean and included a bottle of water and a few sweets too. The room was of a high, clean standard, there was a new, modern bathroom and the Hostal made for a very pleasant stay. The room was also at an extremely reasonable price. I had the breakfast option too and although breakfast is not served in the Hostal itself you take a ticket to the café just a few doors down and order one of the selections available. A very nice stay and I would definitely stay there again if travelling in the area.
