Sweeney Rooms Aviemore

Room with condensed kitchen and balcony. I had everything I needed for my stay. Standard of quality was high. Loved the very large fluffy towels. Decor was very modern and the room was clean. I often stay in Aviemore for work purposes and this is my favourite accommodation. It felt like home instead of a basic hotel room. Nice touch having bottles of water and caramel logs.

First inpressions of this place where beilliant. Had a family room so it was very spacious. Bathroom was huge too. Decor was very modern - a lot has obviously been spent on this place. Bed was very comfy too. A few biscuits, hot chocolates and bottles of cold water were provided in the fridge, along with 2 packs of ear plugs…..what could they be for? As it turns out, we were in room 7 which is on the ground floor right beside the main door - which was pretty loud every time it opened or closed. We also had what seemed like elephants in the room directly above us who must have been practising their walk of the west highland way from 6am until around 8am - back and forth back and forth……maybe this is something thats been fedback before - hence the earplugs. Seems an absolute shame to have spent all that money on making a really lovely, modern and spacious place - only for it to be let down by extremely poor sound deadening. We would go back, but we’d be requesting a room at the top and away from that main door.

Our room was perfect for our stay. Spotless and comfy bed. Only down side was it was opposite end of street to the Cairngorms, where we went to watch football and live music at night lol. Would definitely recommend and will be back at some point.

We stayed in a luxury apartment which was very modern, clean and had good facilities. The location of the apartments were also very central and boasted a superb shower and comfortable bed. All in all, we had a lovely stay and will definitely be back when we next visit the area.

Great location, high quality rooms. Would highly recommend to anyone. Great location and I loved the little balcony. It was wet and snowing while we were there but would love to go back in the summer and sit in the evening on the balcony enjoying a nice glass of wine.

Really nice accommodation in the centre of Aviemore. We were passing through on a stopover enroute to Orkney so just needed a nice room for two adults and two kids. We had a Luxury Suite where the main bed (which was massive) had two roll out pop-up beds either side. These beds were already made up for us and where were comfy. Room was spotless, bathroom was modern and spacious. Parking right by the front door in dedicated car-park. Clear instructions prior to check-in/check-out.

Was fab. Not too much fuss. Check in was easy Comfortable stay. A bit dark but overall nice

Great base in Aviemore well decorated and clean, easy access with code and location is perfect! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a lovely surprise on arrival. Kitchenette is a microwave, fridge/freezer and kettle. Plenty of shops nearby to purchase microwave friendly food! Biscuits were a nice touch, not enough places do the simple things these days! Shower was great, TV was great, bed was huge and comfortable. Only small negative would be that the walls are quite thin so you will hear your neighbours from time to time. I left some property in the room, sweeney rooms returned it to me promptly, very grateful!

Excellent location on Grampian Road, private parking, clean, comfortable, modern accommodation, pet friendly, friendly professional management team, short walk to restaurants, pubs and shops. Over all a fantastic base for a visit to Aviemore and the North!!!
