Best Western Plus Mountain View Auburn Inn

Have stayed a few times. Never a bad experience. I would stay again.

After staying at four different BW plus hotels in the past month, this one was by far the worst. No outstanding service, the location wasn't the best and I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Hello 👋! It was a pleasure to stayed with you guys. Excellent staff very friendly, kind and helpful breakfast it’s delicious 😋 all kinds of drinks, pastries freshly made burritos etc. Rooms are super clean and comfortable, very good quality of sleep super quiet, back yard and front yard green and clean, swimming pool 🏊 indoors! Super nice and clean. I stayed in almost every single best western in the west coast and this one it’s my favorite in every single way. Thank you for all your hard work I appreciate it.😀

Although we had requested our room be aired out before arrivial with windows open, we found it closed up and smelling strongly of cleaning products. The hotel provided us a stand fan to use to air out the room during our stay and we had our personnel air purifier with us. The air quality improved after a day of running the fan and air purifier, and was greatly improved after running both the second day.

My wife and I have stayed at the Mountain View in Auburn quite a few times. We've never had one problem that I can think of. Their breakfast is in the top 5 of the dozens of Best Westerns we've stayed at. The location is convenient and easy to find. I'd drive a considerable distance to stay there because it's that good.

The hotel is very trashy and they told me I could park the trailer then treated me like a criminal and threatening to tow my trailer before I was checked out. This is a bad experience and it almost makes me dislike Auburn in general because they treat their costumers like criminals.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. The rooms were much larger than most hotel rooms. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and there was a great sitting area as well. The teens enjoyed the pool. Nice little patio area outside. Was a great place to stay!

I am very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel and would not stay here again. Upon checking we were given a room that smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. We went back to the front desk and requested a different room. They accommodated and gave us another room. We left our bags in the new room and went out for the evening. Upon return I went to have a shower and found BLACK mold and fuzzy white mould all along the ceiling and side wall of the shower. I called the front desk and asked for a different room again. I was told they are completely booked and I could not move to a different room but they would send the maintenance person to bleach the mould. She said she wouldn’t charge us for the room. I am disgusted and worried about the health of my daughter and myself. We have no other option but to stay in this room that now smells like a mix of air freshers and bleach. Unacceptable. Not to mention this entire experience has taken away from us getting to bed as my daughter has a morning basketball game and at 11:20pm she still has not had a shower. The sheet on one of the beds also was torn with holes in it.

Food was amazing! Staff very nice! It was very clean! I'll definitely be back. I guess the only thing that threw me off was the train lol. Otherwise everything was perfect
