Best Western Airport Motel and Convention Centre Reviews

Arrived at the airport at midnight and stayed here just for a night on arrival. The room was more spacious than I expected, kind of too big for one person. Clean enough, comfortable bed, enough amenities. One thing, when I got to the hotel, the door was locked because the receptionist was out for the airport to drive some guests. I was waiting outside for like 15 min and it was quite chilly. This is the only problem here. Yet, the receptionist was nice and helpful so I’m satisfied with the stay. Thank you.

The room was quite large ,but the facilities were old.Beds were good. It was located near the Melbourne Airport. The service of free shuttle buses to airport was very good.However,the air conditioning was hard to control.The wind blew directly to my face.

One of the better hotels I have stayed in. The staff are very pleasant and to top things off, there is a free shuttle service to the airport! The pool is def a bonus!

From the moment I arrived in the driveway till checkout, everything about this hotel was perfect. Reception was professional yet friendly. Room was spotless and quiet.

We stayed for a stopover between our flights and it was the perfect choice. Just a few minutes from the airport, free airport shuttle service, good breakfast (buffet), great staff and nice room for a night.

Best Western Melbourne Airport is a fantastic place to stay pre or post air travel, especially when you have an early or late departure or arrival. This was our second visit and both times it was immaculately clean, exceptionally comfy and very quiet. The shuttle service is great, a quick call on arrival and in about 10 mins the BW mini-bus is there to pick you up - or schedule drop-off to the airport with the friendly faces at reception - too easy. Very affordable for the facilities and services provided. Highly recommend!

This is our 3rd stay here. Offers a great location with the airport only a few minutes away and good value for money. Rooms could do with a little updating but beds very comfortable. A little annoyed that Housekeeping knocked on the door early whilst we was in bed and didn't wait for a response before trying to get in (thankfully we had the chain on so she didn't fully get the door open).

Exceptionally clean room with a big comfortable bed. All usual amenities, good shower. I loved the mirror with changeable lighting! Airport shuttle was good, came very quickly and only takes 5 mins or so to get to hotel. BUT, I contacted the hotel several times by email to try to find out how to get the shuttle. Many foreigners arriving do not have a local SIM card sorted yet (and mine is data-only so I can’t make calls anyway). A freephone at the airport or the ability to email with an arrival time would be better. In the end I had to borrow a stranger’s phone on arrival at the airport. Staff that I came across were very good but I was only there one night so didn’t use any of the services like bar or restaurant. Walls seem quite thin so if you had noisy neighbours it would be an issue. The pool photo makes it look much larger than it is, but it was fine. Quiet when I was there so few people using it. Overall, a very clean and comfortable stay in a great location, perfect for layovers or short stays. 😊

Not bad / don’t waste your time emailing - they are terrible communicators but face to face service was ok … the breakfast ends early at 9:30 and we got a ‘hurry-on’ call to our mobile phone (not the room) at 9:00 … The shuttle service is good. Globally, I would say 2-star, but for Melbourne Airport, I am thinking it is 3.5 star. It’s close the The Worlds Largest Lollie Shop (that sells a lot of things other than lollies, but still worth buying a bit).

Good Cleanliness. Very near airport. The hotel free airport shuttle service was great and convenient for travelers. 24 hrs check in service is good for people like me who arrived late in the night. Strongly recommended.

Great clean well maintained and services as good as you can get.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The shuttle service is frequent and efficient, even on demand out of scheduled timing and it takes less than 15 minutes to reach the airport. The room is clean and spacious. Internet works well.
