Nice staff, clean room (even a bit too strong on the smell of the cleansing stuff! ;-), and especially NO noise on the parking area side. (Only some people in the room above or not far started hollering around at half past one in the morning, but someone apparently banged on their door and ordered them to stop). Only the shower had a problem: it was very hard to turn on/off the taps and it took me at least five minutes to balance cold and hot. before I could actually have a shower. In the morning, my next-door neighbour asked for help because he couldn't turn off the burning hot water! Also, in my own room, the ring supporting the shower head was broken (fortunately I am not tall!). So, apart from the shower problem, it was quiet, clean and nice!

The room is new and large, and the self-driving is convenient. There is a Chinese buffet nearby. The hotel has a sauna. It is very large. It is very pleasant to steam after playing. There are many parking lots, free parking for him.

This hotel has a friendly helpful staff. If you have read the reviews, you know there is a restaurant on premise. The breakfast menu there is great (on par with most other Ibis and Mercure properties we have stayed at in France. The dinner menu is primarily Italian with one or two French offerings. Unlike some reviews I read, the Pizza is very good (like in Italy good). Here are some things you should know about this hotel. It is about 2.5 miles from Amboise in the middle of an industrial park! The hotel restaurant is your only option unless you walk 1.2 miles to McDonald’s or take a taxi into town (17 Euros one way) or ride the local bus route (.70 Euro one way). We found the local bus to be a viable option - ask at the front desk for the schedule. This hotel is pretty old compared to most Ibis hotels and was remodeled several years ago. The rooms are very small (per European standard) and are clean. The air conditioning does not work well. We were in two different rooms and with the air on lowest setting neither room would cool below 29 Centigrade. The outside temp while we were there was 19!!! We complained so they moved us to the second room with still no air conditioning. The front desk looked upset and suggested we turn off the air and open the window! This hotel and most other Ibis properties do not have window screens (invented in the 19th century to stop insect borne diseases). By morning, my wife and I were both covered with mosquito bites. You should also know that it is the policy of Ibis hotels in France to switch their systems from cooling to heating - no exceptions for guest comfort. We have been staying in Ibis and Mercure properties all over France so we know them well. We next went to a Mercure hotel in Saumur and it was lovely! The air worked well there.

In the complex apartment vote 7/10:wide,complete of everything, balcony,releasantly clean ; negative sides shower in bath, no air conditioning, mattress bed sofa, BAND THE MOQUETTE!! The hotel has a bell and a bell pool of water, and it is too hot, but the boys have enjoyed a half hour. Inflexible on check-in saying the room would be ready at 17:00, after a variety of hurry and laughs to take you around by them, carefully not to get the chief in the next office, They continued to postpone the allocation of the room .. and finally hand keys at 17.30. Check out is at morning .... Furthermore, I didn't understand the room number of the apartments, instead of helping me by writing them or by saying a number at once, she was shocked to continue to repeat the numbers in full in French. This is a really lovely hotel - all the windows and doors were open when we stayed during hot weather so the place was light and airy. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. Our room looked out onto the terrace and garden area where guests can have a drink and or something to eat. The breakfast offered a lot of choices and was very good quality. If you have never been to Amboise before it is a beautiful place with plenty to see and do but there is very little in the way of public transport and we struggled to get a taxi back to the train station. Depending on how quickly you walk the hotel is about a 25 minute walk into the centre which is beautiful.

The hotel is perfect for the guests. The room is perfectly hygienic , a sports room that has nothing to envy the palaces ( and I know what I am talking about having tested the Normandy palace that was in a stupid state ) perfect hygiene vélo tapis ramer and elliptical everything is there.
