Beautiful hotel , very friendly staff, we had an excellent stay with our kids . We will certainly return one day . The restaurants are also very good . You can have perfect breakfast, a good lunch and have an aperitif or dinner . Very complicated to find something negative. We can just Thank you for this perfect stay.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed 3 nights in. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended

This was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. Staff was very attentive. The restaurant was outstanding. Could walk to Assisi easily and view of the abbey from the B&B at night was astounding. Would recommend highly

Definitely recommend. Was greeted by Marguerite, who was friendly and informative. I was allowed an early check in. The room was chic and clean, the bed comfortable. The location is ideal as it is just outside the gates of Assisi. Hope to return.

I read the reviews on the Borgo Antichi and it sounded like a wonderful place to stay in Assisi. It was beyond anything we could expect. It is tucked away at the base of Assisi with the Basilica of San Francisco right above you. The room was beautiful. It was spotless and equipped with all our needs. The Locanda restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast every morning was delicious and you were always greeted with smiles from the staff. I have a special compliment to Giulia, Enrica and Federica who made our stay so enjoyable. I also have a huge thank you to the taxi driver Arrigo who took care of us. Sitting at sunset in the garden was wonderful. We would only stay at the Borgo Antichi anytime we are in Umbria, nothing is better.

Beautiful hotel. Design is well thought through to fit with the surroundings. Clean and comfortable rooms. Located 10 min from the Basilica with the beautiful view of Assissi. Unfortunately we had a negative experience with Gilia Cianetti at the front desk. After we checked out and paid our bill in full, hotel contacted us through the email that they forgot to include one charge. After emailing with them, I called and provided them with the payment for the service. Unfortunately they did not write payment info correctly and send me an email implying that i provided them wrong information. In the responce to my email, hotel apologized for the tone that they used and offered to take care of the charge. I am still insisting on paying for the service myself. Just be aware to check all the charges before you check out. And I suggest that Gilia Cianetti be more professional with the customers. I am attaching a copy of her email here : "It's been 10 days since I try to let you pay the service you benefit for. Your behaviour it's unacceptable, I don't even try to explain in how many ways, you don't even care to reply to a whatsapp message. I hope that someday someone do the same to you. If you want, you can send me a real credit card number, and not a fake one within today."
